    alcohol substitutes and additives

During a trip to Fiji last year, I visited a village and heard a few locals saying "he drinks too much kava" after a certain incident (indeed there were numerous people who strongly disliked this man due to his mental instability) - I'm assuming because he had been quite obviously mentally effected due to the long term use of the drug. I also heard a few reports similar to this in surrounding villages - especially involving the village chiefs (who normally consume more kava than any other). Having said this, it is certainly not nearly as damaging as what the detrimental effects of alcohol have.. KlUe

  8. Hi all, Thought I'd post an interesting documentary I found about the peoples of the Badongo Tribe in Gabon, Africa. They use Iboga in a very spiritual way, to cleanse and be reborn, and to understand their true selves. Check it out here Also, you can download the full video using this website, its worth it Video Downloader (I saved as an AVI, and it didn't play with Windows Media Player, but runs with VLC Player - get it at http://www.videolan.org/vlc/) Peace, KlUe Edit: I'll add that it is also quite depressing seeing how the peoples homes are being destroyed by logging....

    emarcidum x- tract bio@ssay...

Man that sounds awesome... I've only ever tried it on its own using a jet lighter (And yeah, I noticed it burns quite funky ), but didn't get the effects you did - was it the 5x you tried? I may have got a very slight euphoric feeling but could have also been placebo. Do you think it would go better with a mix? KlUe

    fav game atm ?

Some great scary games by Monolith (very potential company with more to come) - producing games like F.E.A.R. and Condemned. Good games with a reasonable story line. Game I'm playing now again is Farcry, an older one but still a goodie. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is one of the most addictive, if not Half Life 2 - which I rekon is the best game i've ever played overall. Also, who played and loved Final Fantasy 7? Elder Scrolls IV (Oblivion) is probably the best RPG/Adventure i've played with awesome graphics and seemingly endless gameplay. Mafia and Godfather were pretty entertaining too. NFS: Carbon - relatively fun racing game (only cus it has the Monaro )

Thanks mate, I'm a bit worried about repotting this late in the season so it may have to wait until next. The soil does look quite average, so it'll be on the books for next season. KlUe

Hey Rev, Just on that note, it doesn't look like my new specimen has ever flowered - it doesn't have any signs of the wool that comes with flowering, and only has one rather large head which I'm presuming was the first parent. Hopefully one day i'll see it do so but i'm not expecting any time soon KlUe
