A Monadenium i think. I picked it up a while ago and this is the 1st time it's flowered. Really unusual... If anyone knows anything about these guys i'd love to hear more

I would give it a feed of Seaweed extract, a good soaking and maybe move it to a place in your yard were it's getting maximum amount of sun.
Even consider repotting and get it planted another 50mm down.

I see those nets are outlawed now. There is a swap program were i am to trade your "opera house" nets in for the more enviro friendly ones.
