It had just rained when I took the photo, but I'll let it dry out and see what happens. Would it do better in the ground?

Here's an update photo. The Psychotria is growing really well. Quite a bit of new growth. The Catha edulis on the other hand hasn't grown one tiny bit at all. I thought maybe it would have to flesh out its root system before it starts new foilage but its been a while now and nothing. Here's also a photo of a juvenile candlenut tree i got from tafe. It fell over but hasn't died off at all yet.

This plant is growing in my backyard in Mooloolaba (QLD). Can anyone help me out? Thx.

Should I put them in the little hothouse or just leave them to acclimatise?

These arrived from Herbalistics today and I've read alot on here about people having trouble with the Psychotria. I potted them up and was wondering if anyone can tell me if the Psy. is potted correctly. I'd like it to survive. I've got in shade so it can re-root. On another note, I went to the Maroochy Botanical Gardens today and I've got some photos on Flickr here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/garyh/sets/72157594495342093/

Has anyone else seen this? I watched it last night and was spellbound by the imagery. Plus there was an ethnobotanist! http://www.amazon.com/Amazon-Large-Format-...D/dp/B00022PYZ2

Hey all, just out of educational interest, are there any obvious physical differences between the main S. Div. strains?
-
I may have some of the technical details wrong with the rainfall but I knew the range had something to do with it all and from what I've been told by lecturers at school, the dams in places such as traveston will receive very little rainfall.

This is obviously shameless self-promotion but I thought some might be interested in my posts. It's new but I'm posting regularly. shamanistic.org

This is a little off topic but its a caapi thread. Should I have my caapi in my hothouse? People here are talking about really fast growing plants but mine seems to be slowly plodding along. I've had it for a couple of months and its only grown about 15-20cm and about 8-10 leaves.

I was wondering what everyones techniques are for drying herbs, leaves, flowers, etc. Especially in bulk.

Mine would be MP3 simply for compatibility.
