That's an awesome idea; I concur re: container over caravan. Every van I've seen that been in place for over a decade on communes etc has been rusted out and degrading much quicker than one would expect. They're also freaking tiny spaces to work with and everyone I've met who lives in one full-time has been experiencing depression to varying extents, I know I would after a few years... I like the modular aspect of the container path also- and they come with flooring pre-installed
