Thank you so much for the reply! I by no means think i don't need healing (just a different intention thats all) In these powerful plant journeys i have always sought to be humbled and awe-struck by the voice of the plant with insights into the wider world and the cosmos itself. I have never thought of it like this. I have heard of some ceremonies where the staff play the Icaros from a laptop if no shaman is available. You definitely answered my question, I'm currently being bombarded by information on the topic so it was refreshing to talk to someone about it. I'll keep you updated with my further travels

What is spirituality to you?
TheMooseZeus replied to TheMooseZeus's topic in Creativity, Spirituality & Philosophy
Incredibly worded! I agree! Why as human beings should we know everything? We seem to know enough to survive. I believe that slowly we will be able to better tap into these "energies" and improve communication with everything.- 2 replies

I've had some strange twists, turns and flat out walls in my spiritual path and would love to hear some other opinions on the matter From what i can gather at this point in my journey is: Through all senses (sight, touch, taste etc) and ones science has not yet discovered, data is constantly being input into our bodies and minds. This data can be transmitted through physical matter or by energetic means an example being magnetism. This translation of constant transmitted data between everything and anything is what we perceive as "spiritual". At the start of my spiritual journey it was very easy for me to accept spirituality but now i need a logic and evidence to back up any claim i have to prove its more than imagination (or ego) Any help would be greatly appreciated -Thanks all

Cactus ID (From sh*t photo)
TheMooseZeus replied to TheMooseZeus's question in Cactus & Succulent Identification
Every time a i walk past it, it seems to have a few new flowers on it. At least for the past 5-6 or so months. Im sure "always" is an exaggeration! There any many similar looking cacti in my area but this always gets my attention because its the only one i see flowering. I'll take some pics tomorrow -
Coleus - can we use it medicinally beyond psychoactivity?
TheMooseZeus replied to Alchemica's topic in Pharmacology, Chemistry & Medicine
Such an incredible looking plant, im sure it has some healing properties just looking at it (Unhelpful answer, i know) I was unsure it was even psychoactive, people seemed to think not or that it was a placebo from what i researched some time ago -

Hey, this is my first post so please excuse me if its a mess I planted acacia seeds about a month ago, 8 obtusifolia and 4 floribunda, 2 of each of these popped up in days, not problem. Since then in the last 3 weeks i have planted an additional 15 or so floribunda. So far I've only had 2 obtusifolia germinate and are doing great. And 2 floribunda which also popped up fast after planting. The remainder seem to be laying dormant. Is it common to have this much gap between germinating acacias? Could it be the difference between planting at the beginning of summer and towards the end?

An almost 2 month old obtusi seed popped up last night after some hot weather. Looks stronger than anything. I think i remember hearing that the first top come up are the weakest. (Don't quote me on that)

Making sense of HBWR
TheMooseZeus replied to TheMooseZeus's topic in Sustainable Technologies & Ethical Living
What kind of doses are we talking? I understand its tradition use was one seedpod which the Huna shamans took "to fly". -
Damn, you gave yourself a hypo?! I'm very glad to hear your child is happy! I'm sure there is a lot of worry having a child with T1D. Soon enough he'll be able to monitor and correct his BGL by himself. I know some people wake up when having a hypo/ hyper regardless of an alarm. Is your son one of these people? I've heard stories from people i trust very much about having dreams about having high BGL and waking up to find it high in reality.

I planted seems from them a little over a month ago. Your post has given me hope

There are so many great new technologies (Although pricey) that help monitor BG levels. Look into Capillary blood glucose monitoring. You can track it from your phone. And insulin pumps exist but it would be bulky for a 2 year old. Good luck to you and your family
