Hey all, I walk for a living, and I get to see all sorts of interesting gardens while I'm out. I take snaps of some now and then. These following pics are from a garden around the corner from my place. I shot everything even if there are only a few interesting ones, someone may appreciate the rest Pardon the pics, as I only had a 1.3mpx phone on me at the time. If anyone wants some better quality shots, I'm happy to oblige. Here goes: So yeh, thats the garden. Any cacti of interest in there?

Those bubbles are a great idea! Pity you'll have people writing shite like "I LOVE COCK" or "UP THE BUM - NO BABIES" in them. Mind you, I'd laugh too, but its missing the point. I still think that'll help make people start thinking outside the box. Everyone is bred to be happy in their little space now days. Everything is closing in on people - from homes (units) to workspace (cubicals) to tv (you know... tv). I reckon something simple and funny would help break the monotony, and start to wake people up.

Speed... well all sorts of Meth... for me is like listening to any Megadeth album. Megadeth was a classic metal band from the 80s (still kicking now) that was an offshoot from Metallica - say what you will about metal, but leave 'tallica out of it. They're the 7th (or was it 8th?) highest selling artist of all time. Altho I was only like 2 or 3 when their first album came out, I got into their early stuff first, so I still consider myself an old school fan. I learnt to play bass by listening to Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden albums. (getting the credentials outta the way here 8) ) Any way - I always loved Megadeth, even tho they were generally hated, cos their front man was kicked outta Metallica for being a cockhead. All their albums were pretty killer. You put one on, and bang yer head, and think "damn there is some good shit on this album." When I'm done, I then take it off my playlist... 6 months later it goes back on, and I think "damn there is some good shit on this album" but I don't miss it inbetween. Its really weird - I dig it when its on, but I don't miss it when its not playing. I have zero desire to spin one of their albums now either, but if it was already going around I'd be loving it. I'm the same with meth - I can hit it hard, for weeks or months (even using daily!), then just stop and not touch it for 6/8/12 months, and have no withdrawals and desire to go back. My "Megadeth albums" are always here too, but if I don't get the urge, I'll just give something else a go... It also helps that I don't pay for a gram of it either

Never said there was a shortage.... They're as low as $6 each (per 100) but no one, with repute, wants to touch them. Its great when you've got access to an HPLC - you actually get a definate reading of quality. ;)

Again, get out more. Go witness some real life. I know of people being shot over drugs, people being stabbed over drugs, and people getting their fucking hands cut off over drugs. Call it scaremongering if it makes you feel better in your sheltered life. Just remember, being an end-user puts you on the bottom of the food chain.

He got bashed to death in his own bedroom - while his parents were downstairs. They were none the wiser, until they went up to get him for dinner, as the music was cranked. Yeh thats the logical thing to do - but these guys have microwaved their brain on high. They don't follow logical patterns. I don't think anyone deserves death (paedophiles maybe) but the plus side to this is that only one other person got hurt: the guy sampling the tester. That was one of the worst days of my life... sitting around this guy with my mates who idolised him, hearing this the next day. Those ex-friends have now gone down similar paths, and I want nothing to do with them.

I dunno... yer probly right Torsten. I heard rumours, and only rumours, this isn't inside information I'm trying to cover up it is from someone in the know, but he said its mere speculation at the moment, as its too soon to really tell. It seems it is PMA, and its due to a number of large busts that have happened around sydney over the last couple of months. There was a large shipment of chem-MDMA busted in Castle Hill right after xmas. The advice I got, and I'm passing on, is this: If you take pills, and live in sydney - don't. Not for a while anyway. People will be cutting them with anything they can right now, as there is demand and no supply. So people are just jumping into it with whatever they have. There will probly be a fair amount of K pills going around, but nothing is certain what people will be putting in them. I know of a guy the last time something like this happened. He thought he'd make a quick buck buying in bulk, crushing them all down, adding GLASS for filler, and re-pressing them. He's no longer with us. When there is a quick buck to be made, people will do anything to make it. It always ends up being the person with the least morals that will step forward too. There is a massive demand for pills now too. Not a week goes by now that I don't hear about people getting asked for, literally, hundreds of them. Yet the prices aren't really going up - which suggests only one thing.... people are making up numbers some other way. So yeh - stay away from them for a while. I don't touch them anyway, MDMA does nothing for me. So I'm good

It puts a little strain on my relationship. Little in the sense of I no longer talk about it, I just tell her when I do it. I maintain the utmost level of trust in any relationship, not just one with my partner. Her anti-drug stance is purely out of concern for me, and my being. She is a nurse, and has worked in Cumberland Hospital (mental hospital down this way) for clinical and has seen what drugs of all sorts can do to people. So her concern is certainly not without base. She knows I'm well-read, and I know exactly what I'm getting my head into. If I'm going to take something new, chances are she already knows the side-effects and treatment for it (she now works in an Intensive Care Unit), but I still tell her anway. With that said - I don't take anything with even slight potential for side-effects. I stay right away from RCs. One mate loves them, but I have a penchant for mother nature, and her wisdom... but a few other goodies never go astray ;) I couldn't care less if she tripped or not. Of course, I would like a trip-partner, but I don't think you should look for everything in one person. I have close friends I trip with. In her, I have unconditional trust, and unconditional love - and I return it. Where ever I go, I'll always be able to come back to her. If a trip ever goes bad, I have someone to focus on. I always used to think we had problems, because we rarely talked. An hour car-ride would be speechless (except for whatever CD I cranked, because I couldn't stand the silence). Any conversation would have to be forced, and it was always over quickly. I am never short of something to say, yet I really struggled with her. It hit me one day... I love the girl, who cares if we have conversation or not, I tell her I love her, and I tell her anything of importance. Since then, the car rides have rarely gotten more talkative, but now I just look over and smile. I've since been able to see things from her point of view. I gave her a big scare one new years eve. ALOT of booze, and ALOT of meth. My body just had enough by about 5am, so I clammered my way inside, and crashed out on the lounge. BTW, i'm one of those freaks that can sleep on meth. I can't explain it any other way than just giving my mind a rest - I wake up still charging, but mentally fresh. I'm told while I was on the lounge I turned a shade of grey that is only seen on corpses. Keeping in mind that this was the New Years Day a couple of years ago that hit 45C in Sydney, so its just me and my board-shorts. My whole body was corpse grey, I was sweating like a pimp with one ho, and my heart was firing madly in my chest. I woke up to half of the party standing around my body on the lounge. By their expressions alone, I thought I had seriously died. That whole day she had the shits with me, and I couldn't understand why. My rationale said "hey, I'm fine, whats the big fuckin deal?" but looking from her point of view: her boyfriend, although alive, really wasn't looking so good. She said later on she was considering an ambulance if my heart rate got any higher. I had her worried sick about me. The party was over the second I hit the lounge for her. She stayed there the whole time monitoring me. Its also funny how typing this out actually helps me think about more of the shit I've put her through. Nothing to do with drugs, just my self-centred train of thought. I think "its my body/money/mental-health/education/whatever, who cares?" Well, she cares. I don't want to see anything bad happen to her, and likewise she doesn't want to see the same. This is good therapy guys, thanks for the topic. Even if you don't read my shite, it was worth it just putting it out there. If it helps someone, then even better.

I think i'd like to turn up! Maybe inspire some other newbies like myself to rock up aswell. Mardi Gras, and the weekend after that are no good for me. Anything else is fine. What is the normal plan with the meet? What happens? Just to give us newbs an idea.

You'll also find some people open up quicker than others. This can be for numerous reasons. Some people have been burnt before, and others are seemingly unafraid of getting burnt. Some may just have a social phobia, and others thrive on being social. Neither is wrong. Everyone is different. I, personally, thrive on social contact of all sorts. Its the main reason I quit my lab job. Everyday the walls got smaller and smaller. The highlight of my day was doing the mail-run up to head-office. I was choking in there, my depression shot thru the roof, my weight went up too. Now I'm in psuedo-sales, I love it - I meet a new person every 5 minutes. I'm happy again. This is just me tho, I'm very easily approachable - don't dare think less of anyone else for not being so approachable. Chances are they'll know alot more about ethnobotanicals than I do. Scratch that.... They WILL know alot more about enthobotanicals than I do. Everyone has their reasons. I guess the most important point is to just keep presenting yourself as you are - people will see it, no matter who they are.

Rulers learnt the lesson of what happens when they over-step their boundaries. They used to get their heads cut off. That'll never happen anymore - the public are kept on too short a leash. Damn straight its easy. I'd much rather a political target as opposed to a drug education campaign. I think that can come afterwards. Spin-doctors can, will, and DO demonise anything their bosses wish. If you start a pro-drugs campaign, it'll get demonised (if it gains a following) then people will see the stickers/posters/whatever and just think "oh these idiots are at it again" and laugh. Change the system from the top, and anything is possible. Otherwise you're pushing shit uphill. Where does that get you? all covered in shit!
