How many clones have you struck from this beauty?
Thanks mate, only 3 so far but it has been 100% success in an aeroponics cloner

Good to know, thanks a lot!

Yeah it seems to take drought pretty well, I don't think I've seen mine droop once.
Thanks for the offer on the seeds but I should be able to harvest some from mine, I opened a pod and they are there, just still immature. The seeds are tiny, there's hundreds in those little ball shaped pods that form after the petals fall off.
Fingers crossed yours makes it through the winter, if it doesn't I got you with a cut next spring.

Congrats mate! I had no idea Caapi flowers were so beautiful, I love how some of the flowers are white and others pink. Fingers crossed you get some seeds!

Nice bush mate! How are the seeds coming along? My seed pods seem to take forever to mature.
Is it in the ground? Do you think it can withstand winter temps?

Stunning! Not sure if it's violent but it's definitely violet

Great, please let me know how yours go!
I just soaked them in water overnight and planted in them in regular potting soil, then put the pot in a minigreenhouse on a heatmat. Took about 12 days I think.
But next time I would probably try to stratify, scarify and/or boil some of them, because there was at least 10 seeds in that pot and this is the only one that sprouted so far.

I hope you're wrong haha, time will tell but it looks weirder in person than in the pics

Very nice DWR! How old are they? I love the little weirdo in the middle
-
I haven't tried it yet but I'm definitely planning to, how much do you use per cup?
Any experience combining leaves with shrooms, dmt or other tryptamines?
-
Yes I'm keeping the small ones in mini-greenhouses for the time being, but my established viridis and alba are just in my grow tent where it's pretty dry right now for reasons you know, and they seem happy they are growing.
Apparently it can take a very long time for leaves to root and sprout if they are not in ideal conditions, like over a year.
-
Actually I asked the man himself and he said they take about 4 weeks to root and 8 weeks+ to sprout shoots.
-
I don't know man these were shipped to me as is by an awesome fellow SABer along with all the other plants & leaves I just posted.
I was told leaves root quickly (about a week) but it takes a while for the new shoots to pop up (couple months I think).
I have put leaves of 3 different strains of viridis in pots to root today, I'll keep you posted.

It's a salicifolia, at least that's what the inital cutting was sold to me as.
-
Not sure why, I'm guessing the previous owner might have harvested some of it. I intend on taking cuttings from it very soon.
And thanks man, I'll keep the pics coming, I've been slacking lately I need to update my grow log.

Looks magnificent
I don't know exactly how old it is, I snatched it up on ebay for 12€ recently.
I would guess it's at least 3 years old judging from the size of the trunk which was cut:
I'm gonna try to root some cuttings I'll let y'all know how it goes

Looks like maybe some kind of pepper but I can't really pinpoint it
-
Thanks, I was suspecting this is the case.
So that means if you graft a regular cactus and somehow block the light on the scion it will come out variegated, right? I think some people on ebay use this trick to sell artificially variegated plants
-
Thanks mate, I ordered the tape style but damn that mini fence looks awesome lol.
I hope it works, last year I had tried tying some copper wire around my pots but it didn't deter them, maybe it was bad quality copper or maybe they were able to just avoid touching the wire, hopefully these large bands will do the trick.

No they are firm and healthy, what you're seeing is a bit of shadow from some creases it had by being I guess bent a little bit in transit.
I'm gonna post some close ups to show you what I mean.

Nice! Calea is a tough plant mate, I have mines in full sun for most of the day and they can take quite a bit of drought in my experience

Lol, starting to get borderline creepy here.
But thanks, I do like my brick ground haha

Haha yeah, but I'm sure you know the place Horse...Hear this little rap.
It's blue,
everyone there treats you
like a newbie
it starts with "shroo"
and ends with "mery",
It might seem cute
but it's not too merry...
(Too much weed sorry guys)
Their argument is that if people sell or trade stuff on the forums (especially prints), it detracts sales from their beloved paying sponsors. And I can understand that but it's the way they enforce it that's ridiculous.
I don't think any of their sponsors sells pollen of anything though but fuck logic, right?

Hahaha didn't think of it this way but now you mention it I can see what you mean, the roots look like pubes too

Lookin' lovely mate, that's the kind of spot I'd like to spend the winter at if I was a plant.
