Such an awesome collection mate, and what a backdrop! I really wish I could dodge the winter in this kind of sunny heaven you live in right now haha

Fucking gorgeous man! Is this seriously a loph? Crested caespitosa would be my guess but shit I'm not even sure what cactus this is haha. Amazing mutant either way

Nice mate, thanks a lot for that!

Thanks mate. Yeah I break a leaf in 2 or 3 and plant the individual pieces.

Thanks brother. How powerful was your airpump for the aquarium? Could also be it didn't have enough dissolved oxygen in the aquarium water for its liking maybe, DO is key for hydro and is obviously not an issue with aero.
Could also maybe be because hydro nutes usually have PH buffers in them that balance the ph, and plants are way more sensitive to ph changes in hydro because soil acts as a buffer as well. So if you didn't add nutes or ph'd the water mahbe that's why it didn't enjoy the aquarium? dunno

Thanks mate I'll take a look on their website, but I'm guessing it's some cannabis type hydro ferts, mine also come in A and B but there's the A/B for veg (N heavy) and the A/B for bloom (PK heavy).

I'm sure aero or even hydro is amazing for established plants, but I guess it's not sterile enough for rooting leaves, a leaf on its own must have a weak immune system I guess.
Are your colorata cuttings leaves or stem?
Definitely interested in knowing what type of npk ratio you gave your psychotria, I might try to put some in dwc sometime.

Yeah I tried rooting viridis leaves in aero a couple times and they rotted both times so I guess it's the same for colorata.
Best bet is coco inside a ziploc or mini greenhouse imo. It doesn't contam easily, holds moisture well and still is well aerated. I've had 100% rooting on a dozen or so leaves this way.

I'm very interested in seeing how that leaf graft turns out, do you have any older ones that took?

Thanks a lot for the input Inyan, that variegate you posted is gorgeous. I sure hope you're right about mine, and I'm definitely more inclined to believe you than the other guy.
What also makes me think he's wrong is I doubt a tricho could get bleached by the sun in Bulgaria.
-
Someone told me it is not variegated but could be just sun bleached. Time will tell I guess.
-
Yeah it was grown in Bulgaria where the sun isn't very intense and the seasons must be very short.
Hopefully it will pick back up next season now that it's in a more favorable climate.

Sorry man but it probably isn't gonna take if you removed the cling wrap after 2 days...
Not only does this cause it to dry out too soon but by removing the wrap you unavoidably messed with the scion at the most critical stage.
Fingers crossed for you though

No idea mate, I don't think so but it definitely would be cool if it were to accumulate other heavy metals such as lead or arsenic. Then it could be used to bioremediate contaminated soils.

Thanks broski! If these manage to not die you'll get a cutting if you want one for sure

One word: Dayum!!! Congrats man must be a lot of work pollinating and taking care of all these gorgeous plants.

Definitely not Desmodium imo, maybe you meant Desmanthus? If so yeah it could sure be but it's hard to tell appart from some acacias at this stage.

Oh shit congrats man! How old is your tree?
-
Just boiled some water, let it cool for maybe 30 seconds and then I put the seeds in and let them in while it cooled overnight.
-
This plant looks amazing man, how does it smell? Can't help but notice the resemblance with cannabis is uncanny haha

I think the angle is a bit misleading, my fingers could definitely show on the other side.
I measured it and it's about 8.5cm across
