    Hydro Lophs

It's not for everyone, we're all constrained in different ways If anything I thought 100% grit would solve the tendency to apply too much love in the form of over watering. Then I thought - I probably need to give these things nutrients. Then I wondered how resilient this setup was to over watering. Then I realised I kind of had a manual water culture in essence.

    Hydro Lophs

Experiment: 6 month Lophs from takeaway tek sown into 5mm grit, watered ~200mL (manually via bottle) every 1-2 days with 0.25% Gabi Liquid Cactus Fertiliser and 0.125% Seasol. Lighting is 300w Mars Hydro, @ height of ~80cm above. Temp 22C to ~38 (back in Jan). Grit because it doesn't hold water or nutrients - attempting to emulate daily flood and drain (albeit manually. Thoughts? Sowing, Late Jan Sowing, Late Jan Progress Mid Apr
