I used Weed Block fabric on top of the soil then small stone. I had a HUGE issue with grass taking over my pots and causing a HUGE mess of an issue. I had to repot everything because of the grass. NOT AGAIN! seems to allow good breathability along with the fabric pots.

Here is what I use from amazon but in black color. I get my pots local from a grow shop as I havnt been able to find these exact pots online. Sometimes I can find them in black or without handles but they are usually super expensive. Im a long time customer of my local grow shop so I get the pots for super cheap now a days thankfully. https://www.amazon.com/Gro-Pro-Premium-Fabric-Handles/dp/B0777L53H2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1520131708&sr=8-1&keywords=Gro+Pro+fabric+pot+with+handles+7+gallon

They are the 'Gro Pro Premium Round Fabric Pot w/ Handles 7 Gallon TAN Color'. There are a TON of brands that looks almost identical but only the 'Gro Pro Premium' brand have the super strong handles. There are verrrry similar fabric pots with handles but the handles are usually integrated instead of being separate sewn on handles. You WANT the sewn on handles because they are not made of the same fabric as the pots but are instead the type of material backpack straps are made of, ie like the pic attached.

they have been awesome for me. I started with 5 gal black fabric pots but switched brands to a way more durable tan 7 gal fabric pots. Love them.

Sup zelly, (this is magical9 under my biz account fyi) so ya the pots are super strong, handles actually work unlike the early versions of the fabric pots. The 5 gal black fabrics I was using had weak handles but as far as degradation... they held up perfectly fine.

Hey there, long time no type! Its been nearly 2 years since I joined and a lot has transpired. I hope to be more active on this awesome forum like I was back in the day. Here are pics of the ongoing nursery upgrade ive been spending my time on. This first set of pics are from the early weeks of the whole project. Repotting and up-potting trichos.
