    Can anyone ID this Trich

2 to 4 feet of cosmic rocket fuel is needed for a moderate - strong experience, will vary from person to person obviously, beautiful experience, well worth the effort.

    Can anyone ID this Trich

I have heard of some gnomes partaking of this sacred cactus with great success, it contained mescaline, and a variety of other alkaloids making for a potent cosmic cocktail launching them into infinity and beyond. Highly recommended sacred cactus, both for its rapid growth and medicinal aspects.

    White Spots

Hey all, got a bit of a query, and a wee bit of trouble perhaps. I've got a tub full of little pedro tips left over from a harvest earlier this season, they've been sitting for a while callousing, meanwhile the mother plants they come from have shot out a few pups each and growing happily. I had intended to pot up these tips and use some as grafting stock for some weird and wonderful experiments once well enough established, but they've been sitting here in my room just sort of collecting dust whilst i've been madly rushing about in the garden planting everything else that needs planting, so perhaps i've just left them sitting too long and they've decided to give up on waiting. Anyways, a bunch of these little 3 inch long pedro tips have developed these weird white spots all over em, some worse than others, some only have a wee bit and a couple are almost covered in them. The spots can be scrapped off to reveal healthy cactus underneath, and they're not scarring, they're on the exterior of the cactus and when scrapped off reveal the tough outer skin of the cactus. Just wondering if anyone knows what this is, or if anyone has had experience with it themselves? Is it bugs, fungus, or what? :scratchhead: I've included some images to show you what i mean. Thanks for your help guys.

    White Spots

Hey sabretooth, you will be pleased to hear that after giving my cuttings and a wash and a scrub with an old tootbrush as suggested by apothecary they are now looking fine, and ready to plant, a little yellow underneath the worst parts but i think they should bounce back fine once they start growing.

    White Spots

Hey apothecary, i searched through the forums before posting for similar threads, obviously, especially after all the threads constantly re-iterating this idea lately, i found a couple of threads which seemed to describe similar white spots appearing on trich's. So following on from that information, if it's scale then it is caused by some sort of insects and can be simply removed by scraping it off by hand? Or is it something else possibly still? I have them seperated from the rest of my collection, and am wondering if i go through by hand and remove all the 'scale' will they then be fine to be planted and eventually re-introduced into the larger growing population? Thanks again for your help. Peace.

    Got these great cutting today

I would have said trichocereus macrogonus for sure too, spination is far more reminscent of the macrogonus than bridgesii. Peace.
  11. Hey don't worry about a little sunburn, they'll survive. It was likely that you moved them into a position with a fair degree more sun light than they were accustomed to growing in, it's alright, it happens, i put a bridgesii monstrose pup outside the other day to root and the same thing happened, i thought it would be fine where it was, but obviously not, too much light/heat and it got a little stressed and was looking a little yellow at the tip and already had a small scar developing by the arvo. All good though, i've got some other bridge monstrose plants that came from a farm and arrived with some nasty sunburnt scars on their tips, right now these plants look phenmomenal, so i wouldn't be too worried brus. Give them some TLC and put em in a shadier position for the time being and gradualy adjust them to more light, once accustomed to growing in full sun the TBM's seem to love it, or at least my one's do, quite prolific growers atm.

    Christmas Cactus

Hey Delysid25, I believe from the looks of them they are either a pachanoi x bridgesii variant or peruvianus x pachanoi variants, i got half a dozen of the little fellas and there was heaps more there, they had a couple of different looking varieties stacked together, so i grabbed a couple of each. Though taking into account the usual amount of variation amongst seedlings taken from the same batch i am not entirely convinced they're not all from the same batch of seed originally and just have slight variations in growth patterns as they develop. I got them cos they looked interesting and had definite hints of bridgesii and peruvianus in them. Lovely plants. I think time shall tell what they are. Peace.

    spaceships

Lol, i'm sure there's many pleadians here, they are after all simply ourselves from the future. ;) The merkaba refers to our light body as twix elbert has pointed out already, it is a vechile of light for us to connect with our divinity within and ultimately utilise to travel to higher dimensions and other times and spaces. For a brief overview check out http://www.crystalinks.com/merkaba.html. For more information and a detailed overview check out the merkaba meditation offerred by drunvalo melchizedek (meditation is also listed on crystalinks) through the Flower of Life workshops and Ancient Secrets of the Flower of Life Parts 1 & 2. You will find a wealth of information out there on the merkaba and it's significance at this time in our global evolution. We are ascending and if we wanna be getting around in higher dimensions we gotta remember how to activate and utilise our light bodies. The reality of interdimensional space travel has always been within us, we're just waking up to it en masse at this time in preperation for the dimensional shift upon us. From my own perspective, i see us utilisting our merkabas en masse for multidimensional travel and experience within the next 1 - 5 years, it's up to us when we decide to pull back the veil and reveal our true selves and infinite beings of light and one with all creation, the sooner the better the way 3rd density earth has been continuing lately. So let's all activate and awaken, it's the global shift in consciousness and planetary ascension, here, now, ah fuck yeah! :innocent_n:   B)

Lovely photos! Amazing garden!  I too hope to have a garden this rediculous one day! Massive inspiration, cheers for posting! Love & Light Always.
  18. Hey Ratis, yes i have dealt with cactus land a number of times, andrew and his wife run a lovely stall down at the vic markets most days and are quite knowledgeable able to answer most of the questions us budding cactophiles may have. They have a wonderful selection of plants on offer and can often get specials in if you ask. Prices are decent for most plants, but some seem overpriced to me, but hey how can we put a price on the infinite potential of the spirit of creation? For any other victorians looking for a good cacti nursery, go the old tried and true collector's corner down at gardenworld, springvale, they always have a massive selection of anything and everything you could imagine in the world of cacti and succulents, well almost, they have a huge selection and massive showpiece garden to keep you well occupied for several hours. Went by there last week with a mate and his dad (always good to see the parents getting actively involved in the real lives of their children) and did a bit of a shopping spree, collecting a few penis plants and a bunch of what look like peruvianus x bridgesii seedlings and pachanoi x bridgesii seedlings, it was a good visit, with much cactus purchased and brought home to loving homes. Good luck with the cactus shopping guys, let us know what you find. Peace.
