    Trichocereus Corynot

Also it's probably worth mentioning the plant was in terrible shape when I dug it out so the multiple offshoots could be an attempt to save itself

    Trichocereus Corynot

I just added another photo to the original post, the Peruvianus 2 pots to the right is my second fattest peru, the fisheye doesn't make it much easier to tell the scale though sorry, either way it's a decent sized plant

    Trichocereus Corynot

Do echinocereus flowers have hairs? The echinocereus flowers seem more like glochids to me, I always associate hairy flowers with tricho cause of its Latin meaning
  11. Hey dudes, I dug out this old plant a few weeks ago, I was thinking it was stetsonia coryne and had it i.d'd by a member as stetsonia coryne but not I'm not too sure, it's started to throw out hairy trich like flower buds and the new spine growth are a dark honey brown, if anyone could help me with an Id that would be sweeeeet, cheers

    Rooting cuttings in All sand/perlite

The 20l bags of perlite are alright, I root my calloused cuttings inside near my grow box in a pot in about 3-1-1 perlite, prop sand and seed raising soil. Fastest rooting I've experience with this was 21 days, was also halfway through winter
