may not be an issue, i may be able to borrow the old mans 4x4 we will just have to split fuel as it guzzles it
-
have you got a 4x4 sharxx? just trying to work out how we can go about car pooling i have 2 friends coming with myself and i don't have a 4x4, i suppose i can take my ute if its not been raining? probably easier if we could get a lift with someone though
-
sounds good mate, you all good with that sharxx?

There is a creek down the hill, not too sure if it is flowing though. So far sharxx, ban man, myself and a mate, and of course you Alfa

Ah well it was worth a shot hey, yeh I don't see trailers really being an issue. It's not that extreme ef I can get the 2wd lux up there. Just to make it clear it is just an opening in the bush off of a rarely travelled track. But beats camping with random people at a paid campsite. A mate and I are going to head up there and mow the area around the fire pit and dig it out again ready for Saturday. I don't know what you guys are planning on doing for sleeping, tents ie. I'm just gonna swag it. Travel light I say

origin of t. bridgesii "bendigo"
GorrilaGardener replied to wert's question in Cactus & Succulent Identification
I believe it was a specimen collected from Dawsons cactus garden in Bendigo. Though I could be off the mark on that one, just what I was told from memory. Interbeing can answer this one... Can take a picture of the cutting when I get home -

Ok checked it out today. It has been near a decade since we used to frequent this spot so it took a little to find. It's a little off to the side of a forestry track out at jimna. I would say we will need 4x4's to get there with out hassle, though I did get there today in my 2wd lux. Nice spot in the middle of the bush, km's away from anyone, I doubt we would encounter anyone out there. My friends and I never did when we used to go there anyway. So if your spot falls through Alfa we can always go there? Or we could just go there anyway? What do you think? Sharxx, ban man?
-
Let us know how you go Alfa, seeing as this is the case, I was talking to a friend yesterday and he knows of a awesome camp spot in a certain park near Kilcoy, very secluded. May need 4x4 or a car with ample clearance to get there. Also dependant on wether or not there are logs blocking the track still to this spot. I will try to get out there for a look this weekend if I can line things up.
