    Rust on Catha E.

Hey everyone I'm in some desperate need of advice on what to do about this annoying rust fungus that's been taking over my catha mother plant. Probably a month and a half ago I started noticing the orange spots developing under the leaves. Long story short I've been trying to treat it with a Bonide multipurpose fungus spray and removing any foliage with signs of rust but am now left with a plant that is nothin but twigs and still seeing it pop up. What is my best course of action in successfully getting rid of the rust? Any special sprays someone could recommend or first hand experiences would be greatly appreciated. Best Regards
  2. Anyone else in the US still waiting on their seeds? I feel like it normally only takes 2 weeks to get here from EU.
  3. Fantastic! I'm super excited for your new giveaway. I've yet to grow out any t. Santaensis but love seeing your pictures of these beauties. My warmer weather is just around the corner, time to get the grafting stock ready

What did you do to your cacti today?

Just got done moving last weekend so had the lovely time transporting half my collection I have lots of cutting and potting to do now, even though it's getting into the colder part of autumn here. Probably start my seed sowing here in a week. Just took a picture of a taquimbalensis X bridgesii I grew from seed I received from Maxuel Powers 3. I was curious if anyone knows of someone who has crosses with taquimbalensis? Seems like I haven't seen any hybrids with that species.

  14. Rio Lurin matucana matucana My favorite looking matucana graft got knocked off awhile ago unfortunately :-( it's laying around somewhere rooting. Just a little update. All these guys should be ready to repot into larger pots in anticipation for summer.
  15. Hmm yeah my most recent pics will have to be my entry. All my pere grafts have since been regrafted to some pc pach rootstock. I could probably take pics of those at some point.
  16. No nothing to suggest cuzco to me so far. They have been looking absolutely stunning and my blurry phone pics don't do them justice. VERY sexy looking peruvian. The second smaller graft has just recently been taking on most of the rootstock energy and now after degrafting the larger one I except to see a lot more growth. Hopefully in 3 or 4 weeks I'll have some decent progress on the pc root stock grafts to show.
  17. OK so first off my apologies for the bad formating and pics, I'm doing everything off my phone. Every pic was taken a few short minutes before night time so lighting isn't the greatest. All of now been regrafted to some pc pach rootstock. So first up are the matucanas Next is of the Lurin Valley My Knuthianus is still stalled but hopefully spring brings him to life.
  18. Awesome EG thanks a million. Mine arrived this past Monday. Can't wait to start these babies
  19. OK so firstly my apologies for the poor picture quality and bad lighting, every time I remember to take pictures it's already night time but I figured somethings better than nothing. So the first pic is Rio Lurin and the last 3 pics are the matucanas. I have a Knuth scion that has stalled since being grafted and had yet to "take off". I gifted over half of all the seed given to me to two more prepared growers than myself under the understanding of updating this forum with pics. I'll have to check in with them to see if we can't get more pictures in here. One I know for sure is a member here so we'll see.
  20. A kk339 cutting I received.
  21. Hey everyone I was hoping someone could help me with a small dilemma I'm having. So over the last couple months one of my favorite peruvians has developed brown spots that are slowly moving up the column. So far as I can tell it's only cosmetic but it's still worrying me. I first figured it was just signs of stress from a unknown reason maybe a accidental fertilizing with too much nitrogen. It seems to slowly grow on one plant and very rarely move to other plants but I am seeing signs of it on a few plants in the same general area. I also had this happen to another trich at a different location not to long ago that someone suggested might be fungal or viral. I isolated that one plant but it has shown no signs of getting any better. The first 2 pics are the cactus I noticed this on first several months back. The next 3 pics are the 2 peruvians who now seem to be going through the same thing. So please any expierenced members with a proper ID and or a way to treat this I would GREATLY appreciate your help. Thanks again

    Looking for Khat

Hey everyone I was hoping someone would be able to help me on my search to obtain some catha edulis. I'm really looking for rooted plants but if know one is able to provide that I can manage with sucker plants also. I might also consider cuttings and seeds as well. Just let me know what your looking for whether it's a trade or money I'm sure we can figure something out. Thanks everyone for your time. Take it easy and all the best. GF
