It seems people's definition of real 'meditation' is sitting in lotus and trying not to think. Does 10.000 hours of this have the same effect as a psychedelic mushroom? I'm not sure.

Hey! Has anyone had experience with synesthesia? The way I imagine it is that all objects around you turn to sound. Would be very curious to anyone who's had experience or knows any meditation techniques or plants which could bring this on.

I went hichhiking for a couple of weeks, and read Sogyal Rinpoche's 'Book of the living an dying' on the road. It's kind of a western adaptation of the tibetan book of the dead. Amazing read. Seriously amazing.
