Edit: I tried to elect a surgeon as my local member last election but the other f-wits around here decided an ageing tennis player was more appropriate.

Most surgeons I've ever had the "pleasure" of dealing with have been arrogant c**ts, and look down on us mere serfs as ATMs to extract money from. So they'd probably fit into politics like a lubricated glove.

I remember him being in the news but didn't bother reading any of it just figured it was more hydroxychloriquine stuff. I guess the next logical step would be a covid themed speedball? Hydroxychloriquine/bleach/ivermectin -> trumpballs anyone?

    Unfortunately he's my local MP.

Oops! Serendipitously just came across this.

    https://www.theguardian.com/science/2021/jul/16/huge-study-supporting-ivermectin-as-covid-treatment-withdrawn-over-ethical-concerns

Some pretty funny bits like the author's using a thesaurus to change words of plagiarized content, dates that don't exist on the calendar etc etc.

And if you're interested in data integrity, definitely check out Nick Brown who's mentioned in the article. He's a bit of a legend in some academic circles regarding dodgy data.

All you had to say was that Craig Kelly is in support of Ivermectin! (***clown music plays in the background***)

  4. I don't post enough pics here, but here's a few shots around the garden from this morning. It's mid winter but lots of them are waking up already and putting on new growth.

    Outside my window
There's a world stuck in limbo
    A sidewalker scared
    Under gas station light alright

    Inside my house
    It's quiet as a mouse

    Outside my window
They're tryin to play me for a fool
They say they got my place surrounded

Well nice attempt to keep me grounded

    Inside my house
I shoot to kill I don't fuck around

    Inside this house I'm terrified

This spirit world is upside down and inside out
We've come too far, we're too bizarre to turn back now
Lifestyle over everything, lifestyle over everyone
They say, freedom has been found
    Lay your weapons down

Yeah its rather bizzar that our political leadership are setting these 80% vaccination targets which will allow for life to return to normal, before the worlds leading scientific publication can confirm herd immunity is a viable goal. I guess its reflects the fact that our elected leaders are qualified in the feilds of law and commerce rather then science.

They're qualified in the field of saying things to make it seem, to the herd, that they have things under control, and therefore we should continue to vote for them...they rarely look past electoral cycles.

The only time my tinnitus has ever disappeared, more or less completely, was for a few hours after local anaesthesia from a dental procedure.

Anyone can report on tinnitus effects or therapeutic benefits of dissociative anaesthetics?

I reckon dissociatives might be worth investigating, hardly a workable solution though. You can't exactly get K spannered and turn up to work!

Is herd immunity possible? seems like an important question to answer....

Looks like camp planning will be last minute from here on essentially...

I get the impression (from my layman's perspective) that we will live with it like chicken pox, and mutations will occur that mean booster shots are required from time to time to prevent the worst of symptoms. But it's not looking great for it to disappear.

I remember quite well a guy telling me how he experienced a loud buzzing sound for quite a few hours after drinking a local brew in San Pedro country. He thought it corresponded with an increase in blood-flow to some area within his ear region.

Harmala alkaloids will also cause a major buzzing, but it's not really like tinnitus. It's a lower frequency vibration, like you're standing next to a gigantic transformer that's humming, and the vibrations are felt inside your skull.

  10. Don't come to pieces in my hand

White stars reflecting dust and sand

That perfume makes me think of grief

Shake the faith shake the belief

Who's there to say that we're living this moment

Feels like I'm in a play

The sets and the props of this, your apartment

Seem to be fading away, fading away

So I wander through these rooms

I feel the orbit of the moons

And I dream what I become

And all's forgotten by the sun

  11. I have self induced tinnitus for the last 20 or so years, a result of raving, overpowered sound systems inside small clubs, and one Killing Joke show...

Tryptamines don't seem to have much effect, but I find phenethylamine type psychedelic substances make it much worse. I think it's due to the increased blood pressure.

Also opium makes it worse, but I kind of enjoy the sound of my blood vessels drumming inside my eardrums in that particular state.

From a Saivist non dualist perspective, Kali, Kubjika, Sakti, Kundalini are all the same energy, as is Shiva.

Brahma is associated with creation, Vishnu and his avatars are sustaining, and Shiva destruction.

The above 3 are also associated with will, knowledge and action respectively.

As soon as Sakti is seen as separate from Shiva the descent (or movement) into duality is begun.

There is so much under the umbrella of Hinduism, what I'm saying is more a Kashmiri Saivist, or Tantric view where Shiva and associated Goddess are primary.

I suppose my take is that we are in a world of duality, that's where we spend our time, so, while the ultimate nature of these forces transcends duality, our perception is limited.

I've had it from pan cyans. I reckon it's got to do with high levels of psilocin...?

I've never had it. I get extreme blood pressure drop from cubes though. Never happened with subs.

ok, i don't disagree with you.

i've seen south americans plant yellow seeds.

    they germ faster than red.

i try to make a point towards, if you recieve this seed plant it right away, don't say it can wait anoter day.

Good advice. Every day is a roll of the dice.

i was told they loose viabilety after only 7 day's, please consider! (:

    nice one, topic starter!!!

As long as the berries are still bright red and not too shriveled or mank they usually germ ok with a bit of warmth.

As soon as that bright red sheen turns darker, their viability drops to virtually zero.
