Incarvillea sinensis extract 20x
Monday 7/9/15
1000mg
Taken after food, coffee had been taken 4hrs previously
T+1hr - some relaxation noted, no sleepiness. Slight nausea experienced, almost imperceptible.
T+2hrs - notable calmative effect, not drowsy as with benzos or opioids. No itchiness or warmth.
T+3hrs - slept, no problems achieving sleep, but no major effect on ease of falling asleep either.
Tuesday 8/9/15
2000mg
Taken before food, no coffee previously
T+0.5hrs - slight nausea noted
T+1.5hrs - muscle relaxation noted, stiffness/soreness in muscles felt less noticeable, some slight loss of muscle co-ordination/very mild dystaxia. At the same time, a slight stimulation was felt.
t+2 hrs - notable calmness and relaxation, anxiolytic effects felt. Some heaviness in limbs. Easily concentrated on detailed tasks however. Felt very meditative.
t+3.5hrs - deep comfortable sleep, dreams.
Wednesday 9/9/15
4000mg
Taken after food, no coffee.
T+0.5hrs - slight transient nausea as previously
T+1.5hrs - noticeable loss of muscle coordination, anxiolytic effects felt, slight mental fog. Headache symptoms gone, muscle stiffness alleviated.
T+2hrs - noticable visual ataxia, some difficulty reading small text.
T+2.5hrs - deep relaxing sleep achieved, dreams.
T+12hrs - some difficulty waking from sleep due to state of relaxation, partially due to lack of motivation.
Notes:
There appears to be no major increase in effects from doubling the dosage. 2000mg does not feel qualitatively like double the effect of 1000mg, likewise 4000mg compared to 2000mg.
This may or may not be due to tolerance, as the doses were taken on consecutive days, and the duration of effects seems to be quite long lasting.

Well, it's worth a try anyway. I've never used it as I've never had to deal with mealies on my cacti so far...(fingers crossed).
-
Hey bog,
You could try something like this for the mealies.

Interesting. Do you want results posted in this thread, or start another?

Sweet, got mine thanks stonewolf.
So you said around 2g was definitely effective at some level of action, would you recommend starting there? With a limited supply, I don't want to waste too much undershooting the dosage so I can give it a few tries and post results.

I think Angophora costata would make a great bonsai specimen incog, it's so close to a eucy it's not funny.
-
Nice one, I was feeling a bit lonely out there by myself for a while!

Talk about sad bonsai tales bogfrog, my dad told me today his buddy just lost almost all his collection to a theif. Whoever it was obviously knew him and took most of a collection that was nearly 40 years work. People.
Heartbreaking.

Yeah, they're nice huh.

Do you plant your hippies in rows on your farm hillbilly?

Probably helps if you don't look like a longhaired bongsmokin' hippie in a kombi van too...

Sounds great.

Mmm, possibly, but with the exclusion of oxygen from the process. I'd guess you'd have to let any built up ammonia escape during the process or you might end up with some pretty pungent baccers.
-
I reckon an anaerobic cure like burying would be interesting.
-
Look up some of pat uri's posts, he obviously knew his stuff.

There's plenty of info out there on the net about curing techniques. Most home methods involve sun drying leaves until brown, then sweating, and jar curing for extended periods.
