Here's some light reading on vaping cannabis. Not exactly news to many of us but a good read nonetheless. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4718604/ https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4456813/
  3. Recently I have been experiencing visitations by birds on a daily basis. Most notably magpies, but also king parrots and crows. One magpie in particular is now so comfortable that he will eat from my hand. I call him Claude. King parrots are also making daily visits. Crows watch from a distance but are very vocal. This is a new occurrence that started a month or so ago, and it seems to hold some importance, but I'm not sure what to make of it. Magpies seem to be associated with a message to focus on spiritual pursuits rather than material ones (I'm hardly a materialistic person so I think there's something I'm missing). Parrots are associated with the need to be watchful and alert. These are the typical associations in dreams anyway. But my visitations are physical, so I wonder if there is more to the picture. Does anyone have any experience with bird visitation and their symbology?
  4. That's interesting, I have always assumed the opposite, which was my experience too.

    Who here meditates ^__^

The other form of meditation I really like is walking meditation. You just walk, and pay attention to walking.

    Who here meditates ^__^

I have changed my meditation style to a slightly more active type. I used to sit and just be aware, now I practice breathing deliberately. I have worked daily at it in the mornings for the last few months and I do find it is a great start to my day. My session is around 18 minutes each day. I have struggled in the past to motivate myself to practice consistently with other meditation types, and I think consistently doing it is one of the keys. I used to think that I should be getting better at it, or something, but not everything needs to be a linear progression. Now I just do it. Sometimes I do reach a really amazing state of calm and "isness". Everything goes aqua blue and it just "is".

Your Tax Dollars at Work - WA

I remember watching the doco "fungimentary" about Ballingup way back in about 1996 and the cops were all over it even back then. Nothing new, ABC online news arm is woeful, but that's what happens when you cut funding for proper investigative journalism (wouldn't want to uncover any white collar crime now, would we?). You end up with lazy stories like this. Next stop Vice!

Sounds like he is exactly the kind of person that should be a judge. Now unfortunately he's gone and I'm sure they'll fill the void with someone who has no issue with sentencing people for personal use.

Looking for some crested variant cutting.

There's no guarantee a crest will stay a crest. I've had Hamilton's Peru crest for about 6 years, got it as a crest, but it reverted and has never gone back. Many crests will produce sports, or pups of normal columnar growth. Its usually a good idea to remove these, as the plant will mostly put it's energy into these at the expense of the fasciated part. I've got some crests I could part with, send me a msg if you like.

    Pupping mid column

I've found it happens when a column gets a lil lean on, then sort of stays like that. Pups form on the side that has a slightly upward tilt. But some plants just do it. Rita seems to pup mid column a lot.

    Seeds of any kind

I've got a bunch of fresh seed from the last season, a lot of OP crosses mostly as I couldn't be fucked climbing up a ladder to dangle precariously over some gnarly spiny death cucumbers. Pm me if you like, and I'll let you know what I gots. I can probably even show flowering photos of the plants in question.

    Organic certified potting mix

I don't buy organic certified mix, I don't even know anywhere that sells such a thing. I do buy the cheapest mix ever though, it's about $3 for a 25 litre bag, and I like it because it has no added slow release feet pellets like a lot of mixes do. Its also very fine in texture. I have almost never found big chunks of bark in this mix. It might be useful to know what plant you are concerned about growing. I sincerely doubt that any added ferts would cause any harm though. The problem is more about the supply chain and manufacturing process. Chemical ferts use a lot of electricity to produce, and are generally not good for the environment. But plants still like em!

    Fluffy bunny rabbits

Fucking hell Sally, miss your posts and all, but this one is scraping the barrel mate.
  23. Here's my lot sown (years later) in December 2019. They really need to be planted out desperately, but I have no room. So I'll be guerilla planting them in the next couple of weeks. Second pic shows the narrow phyllodes variant.

    Post a random picture thread

The youngest cat is becoming quite the ratter. I heard Covid is causing a lot of rats to move out of their usual homes and into the suburbs looking for food.
