Almost 600 major corporations did not pay tax in 2013-14 financial year, Australian Taxation Office says
Strontium Dawg replied to Change's topic in News & Notices
Death is the great equaliser. It doesn't care how much money you made or how much tax you paid. We're all dust. I actually take some comfort in that justice. -
The sausages curl up as they cook and the ocd kicks in because you can't get that last side to sit flat and get brown....

Um, remind me again how many millions in tax were collected in USA recreational cannabis states last year? Add that to the savings of not having to enforce prohibition and incarceration of convicts...that would be a decent chunk of your deficit solved. -

Ok, so if I make a net loss on my personal income, ie my bills and expenses amount to more than my income, does that mean I should be entitled to not pay tax also? -

Looking for all pics of Knize sourced plants! KK numbers!
Strontium Dawg replied to Evil Genius's topic in Cacti & Succulents
EG, I acquired this one labelled as kk2152 - which should be a peruvianus according to the key. It looks much more like a cuzcoensis to me, which sounds like a common problem with Knize sourced items.- 44 replies

I think soft light is ok. I wouldn't blast them with strong sunlight or leave them in the dark either. I rooted some at ambient temperature of between 15-25 degrees. As long as it's not too cold. -

Pots - Is this mould and is it a problem?
Strontium Dawg replied to AbleKay's topic in Cacti & Succulents
Mmm, chlorine gas. Tickly. -
I've given up trying to control possums. They piss and shit on my car every night. At least they don't eat my lophs anymore though. I dunno man. If you have a dog in your yard they will usually think twice about ground level missions.

Geez dB, so sorry mate, I understand your grief. Vibes to you and your mates family.

It's been heavily hacked.

I think he means the big thick terscheckii looking plant which is up near the back wall next to the herbarium. It's sad that so many plants get attacked like that scop. I remember when there used to be a large catha edulis in the sbg but they took it away due to the attention it attracted.

It's a race to the top. Caapi vs morning glory. Mg is in the lead, but caapi is holding her own. I'm surprised how fast caapi takes off once it has something to climb. -

Nitrogen´s Connoisseur hybrids - pics and seed giveaway
Strontium Dawg replied to nitrogen's topic in Cacti & Succulents
Just got around to sowing mine today. I gave some seeds away to another worthy dude as well who missed out. Can't wait to see what they turn into! I'm propagating peres like mad to do plenty of grafts, but I'll be leaving lots on their own roots.
