Possibly, but they need to compete with other fungi which can be much more aggressive. The benefit is you can get to fresh chips and start sub spawn before other species have a chance to dominate. Every bit helps.

I'd quarantine it if you can nd commence weekly treatment with Yates antirot. You might save it, but in my experience it's very difficult to eliminate once established, and I just bin affected plants now.

I believe the pigs use Drager securatec swabs for roadside. They are calibrated to 5 mmol/litre I think, whereas Australian standard is for 25mmol/litre. So if you're wanting to replicate the sort of detection capability they use, that's what you need to look at. I'm not sure if you can get the same swabs they use, although TI managed to get his hands on some for a similar project some years ago...

I think the plant mentioned in this article is already well known to most members here. It's true. Oral swab tests only detect presence of THC itself, not metabolites. So bypassing any direct contact with your mouth eliminates testing risk this way. But if you vape or smoke as well, then there's no advantage. In NSW, a positive roadside test will result in a more thorough lab test, but you'll lose your licence roadside straight away. There is no legal defense even if you're on prescription.

Ablekay has had a decent size courtii in a 44 gallon drum for years, it's doing fine. Won't ever reach maximum size but it's not suffering either.

Curious to know what was the basis of selection for clones? Generally speaking, you'd be better off germinating seeds, unless you had a particular specimen that warranted cloning. Otherwise your bottlenecking genes for what purpose?
