You thought of a crowdfunding venture to help get it off the ground? I bet everyone worried about the chemtrails would gladly chuck in some cash to conclusively see whats going on.

Picture Says It All Had A Good Laugh

Don't you think it would just look like a bird flying around in the sky on radar? And it's harder to get caught with drones than you'd think. That's one of the issues with policing the usage of them appropriately. I don't think a chemtrail sampling business would be viable anyways. You'd do one test. Get a positive or negative result and then start a shitstorm of argumentative discussion about whether the results are legitimate or not or whether your company was paid off by (insert big something here)

Only a problem if you get caught ;) Isn't that how most people roll on this forum? lulz
-
If you ever get fresh seed mountaingoat I'd be keen on some. They aren't viable for long and I know my climate is cold but I'm sure with a little fish tank heater, reservoir and pump I could rig up a heating system for it on the cheap. Would be cool to get one going.

Migraine With Visual Aura Over Left Visual Field
ace1928 posted a topic in Pharmacology, Chemistry & Medicine
Hey guys I got migraines pretty periodically once I hit the age of 16ish. Would get them probably once every few months. Occasionally a little more frequently. No idea what the trigger was/is but they vanished after the age of 18 for about 3 years. Now they are back and I've had two of them in the space of about two weeks. Still no idea as to what the trigger is. SO My question. Does anyone else suffer from similar migraines? Does anyone know what their own trigger is? Not looking for treatment options. Just a brainstorm of other peoples triggers or potential triggers for them. Cheers, Ace -
Migraine With Visual Aura Over Left Visual Field

oh i get what you mean about the overload thing. i really only get that with light i get full blown colours and wavy gemoetric patterns starting to come across my field of view and then lose ability to speak. its weird when that happens because i can think but my tongue wont cooperate to make the sounds properly. I imagine its kind of like a mini stroke. Even do sometimes get tingling and numbness down the left side too. Some people think that brain vasculature might be involved in migraines. Changing the flow of blood to and from nerves and potentially altering blood pressure etc. Apparently the aura results from compression of the optical nerve or something like that too. Whatever is going on its damn unpleasant. -

Sounds like we're all in the same boat. I find it interesting that there are higher incidence rates of migraines among those that suffer from ADHD, depression, anxiety etc. and that their underlying cause is unknown. Do you guys happen to lose the ability to speak coherently as it progresses? In the sense that you can think words but when you go to speak you are "speaking in tongues" ie rambling noises I also find spelling to get very difficult. But no auditory hallucinations like you mention anodyne. The variation in migraines is very interesting too. -
Yeh i've never figured out why it does it but it has happened before. From whites and have also had some "blue" oysters from the super market go back to a white cap. Gotta love the curve balls
-
They aren't contams I've had multiple white oyster strains do that. Especially from supermarkets. They taste awesome and are still oyster mushrooms. Have had some go a deep brown colour when I grew them mid summer outside. Think it's a response to lighting a little bit. You need way more air than what you are giving them at the moment too. But they look healthy otherwise. Good job man. Give them way more air and they will reward you kindly. I would not rip any mushrooms off. I didn't see any contam in the pics displayed

When is privacy necessary?
ace1928 replied to Distracted's topic in Creativity, Spirituality & Philosophy
Perhaps it requires a substantial amount of cognitive effort to maintain a social awareness of the people around you or observing you. I certainly find that it requires effort and consideration well beyond what you need to give to yourself. I personally, and perhaps others are like me, get burnt out by the constant vigilance needed to be aware of how people are feeling and taking things that are being said, to understand the subtle underlying dialogue between "groups" within friends. It all gets a bit much so, to avoid offending anyone by being callous or careless or blunt, you piss off to enjoy some privacy to do your own thing without risk of being irrtated or causing irritation to others. No matter how good of a person you or anyone else is we are all dickheads for at least a portion of the time. Everyone needs some privacy/personal space away from that. -
Could even get a little solar panel + battery back and a fish tank heater. Have a heated greenhouse for the nights. Also not a bad little read for details on it. http://www.wikihow.com/Grow-Chocolate-Indoors

When is privacy necessary?
ace1928 replied to Distracted's topic in Creativity, Spirituality & Philosophy
I really like to be alone. I like to have time to myself and myself alone. To know there is someone else aware of what I'm doing at all times is rather irritating. Animals like privacy. Even many that run on instinct. Even when in safe environments. They aren't doing anything "right" or "wrong". Why do they want privacy? Even a pet dog. There are times where they want to be by themselves. With the new data retention thing if you have a mobile on you at any point then your location is pretty known. Case in point http://www.abc.net.au/news/2015-08-24/metadata-what-you-found-will-ockenden/6703626 -
Shittiest joke competition - tricho seedlings

What's brown and sticky? A stick -
I've got a shitload of seedlings that would make good grafting stock in a year if you want something like that too?

Hey guys As been playing around with and building these things for quite a while. High power LED's Low energy usage Full spectrum white, blue or red LED's possible. Perfect for cactus germination, graft growing and pretty much anything else. Couple pictures attached to show a few home jobs. I can make them fancy looking (more expensive) or practical and minimalist (cheaper). All power is regulated to the LED's so there will be no blow outs or burning out due to overload. The LED's are rated as having over 50000 hours lifetime and the LED's themselves are waterproof and have a 2 year warranty. PM for details. Will be a month or 2 waiting list at this point in time. Cheers Note: There are 1000 lumens of power output in the seedling box pictured which, for the surface area of 0.8m2 that the box has, equates to 12,500 lumens per square meter. This is not the limit of light intensity but is most definitely more than enough for seedlings.

The guy in his own thread points it out. It's shit. It's overpriced, inefficient and potentially quite dangerous. And would cost more money to build his thing then it would to buy something with more power from me. [–]LEDwizard[S] 2 points 10 months ago Oh I take no offense. I do LED engineering as a 9to5 and believe me, the LED array I've designed here is SHIT electronics. But it works, and doing a constant-current, PWM system using good circuits would have taken 2X the money and 3X the time. I encourage others to experiment! The fun of DIY is that you can try stuff and iterate quickly. I made many mistakes before I settled on this design. permalink parent

Lol. Whoever wrote that tutorial doesn't understand lighting. You don't measure your power in "watts per square foot" If you want to follow stupid instructions and waste money then go for it It would be preferable in future if you want to post bullshit instructions you do so not in a for sale thread. Cheers

This right here sums up uni as a whole http://www.buzzfeed.com/abagg/this-honest-university-commercial-will-make-you#.mbGAaQO35 What do I get out of it? well... I get journal access. Hooray. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2013-10-25/scott-selling-science/5043620?topic=health oh... Well... I dunno. Maybe if I ever get transported 60 years back in time my knowledge might be up to date? Oh and I get this sick piece of paper at the end which pretty much wont get me a job unless I know someone anyway! But that requires a whole heap of ass kissing that I just can't muster. Anyone have any sustainable alternatives? Kind of just want to be in a position where life is at least a little enjoyable I'm sure many of you are in that same spot though.
