  1. That sounds delicious ! there is a lot to be said for the oil from the seed too of the barbary figs.. I forgot to add I tried loph fruits and do enjoy them although very small but an experience worth having.. -more seeds if pollinated, so perhaps if seeking a nice berry then maybe not pollinate.
  2. Yeah man it is as far as I know I suppose you could spit them out and try to grow them ... ? I think it's opuntia ficus indica .. I forgot to put that earlier so just in case any other readers wondering what species it is ... but perhaps it's specific cultivars? also the pads are edible but.. glochids so beware and burn the ones off of the fruit if necc', defo can save the seeds with hylo' costa' too so if they're in season and in your supermarket you can get them growing too fairly easily.
  3. Barbary figs man , never a better flavour was there to pass along this gullet.. also a great Ice cream flavour.. -edit- oh yeah don't bite or chew hard, those seeds will pass thru fine and are pretty big and not fun to bite down on If you prefer sweetness with dragon fruit get the pink ones (Hylocereus costaricensis) and I don't think you'll be dissapointed I read enough about Cereus peruvianus fruit not to pass up the chance if it were to come by. Also I was told by a SABber that T' spachianus fruits are ok too.

  5. not saying anything mate , i really don't know .. just it's such an interesting subject and I figured I would share what I had found vid-wise on the tube and fire a random question to see what your minds would say .. I appreciate there is firm belief but I personally can't say either way and only have the skills that the women I grew up around could impart as a basis which turned out to be inadequate [but eventually I found some but probably waaay too late] so I am just fascinated in the food for thought and inspiration laid before us on the SAB thread but would really like to feel that I knew , ...maybe one day? ... but in the mean time it's awesome watching great minds of SAB shoot the shit over it and how objective and rational you guys fare and it's really this that has been missing from my life so long I guess I am still trying to fill the gaping hole where smart men were missing from my learnings and experience.. Prior to that was just former military dudes as mates who kinda broke me down so as to build me back up and teach me how a guy should kinda be .. ya know like with the way to think or approach and the problem solving in as hermetic a way as possible (by hermetic: meaning as complete as possible not necc' witchery ) :- in order to better self so as not to make the same mistakes as before and be more like a human. Thank you by the way !
  6. Always a pleasure! Sure is, not just with plants and their allies but also for open mindedness deep thinking and awesome human nature of all walks .. and some of the best encouragement.
  7. what about pre biblical descriptions?
  8. reminds me of female sabotage ... not assuming it happens to everybody but been afflicted by at least 5 females doing it so far .. I hope that's one you can rule out mate and no offense meant if any taken
