Colloidal silver (making,uses & experiences)
bardo replied to bardo's topic in Pharmacology, Chemistry & Medicine
Hey, some awesome reading/info here : ) So Zelly, after reading the link from Satyr, it seems having an instrument to measure the ppm isnt completely necessary. Thank you Satyr for that link, it pretty much answers all my questions and alleviates much of my concern, the article is saturated with valuable info : ) So it seems the horror stories come from the way of manufacturing rather than the pure product itself, so apart from the minor issue with iron there seems to be no real negative side effects or atleast evidence of such when made and used appropriately? I think i might also look at getting some silver cutlery in the near future : ) -
They Live, that would have been mentioned surely ? not the greatest acting but a good concept

Perhaps it could be used against ebola and such things? -
I started a new tread for the colloidal silver topic, its in Pharmacology, Chemistry & Medicine. I will take a look at the blood electrifier a bit later : ) That blue guy i wonder if it was siler oxide he drunk? cause there seems to be alot of people on youtube drinking the stuff or claiming to drink it and they are not blue? dont know but its sparked my interest

Log cuttings don't look that unnatural , like when a big branch comes down and takes root. I thought logs might produce more pups but in my experience it doesn't seem to be the case and I don't like using ga-3 or hormones if I can help it, they just seem to grow better/quicker when upright, tho I only have a small amount of logs to compare

I would leave it on its own roots but that's only because I wouldn't be confident enough that the graft/s would be successful, I don't know, would be awesome to get a tip graft and a few areole grafts and leave the base to pup, I bet this would grow pretty slow with the lack of chlorophyll so grafting would be good to get it cranking, if it was twice the size I would feel way calmer to cut into it, 9 cm isn't a lot to play with. Kinda like the hamlet situation, To graft or not to graft : )

bardo replied to Chrissy Star's topic in Australian Native Plants
I tried some fruit last time i went to the beach, there is not much flesh in them but they taste ok(ish) : ) they are in my bush tucker book, it states the leaves are used to add a salty flavour to dishes- 8 replies

i would brush off any visible scale insect with a toothbrush : ) i wouldnt be to worried about the scars, maybe just keep an eye on em and if it looks like it going bad/rot then give it plenty of sunlight and try keep the scared bits dry, but they dont look that bad so wouldnt be to worried about that : )

Hi, there is cheap good quality seeds on ebay : )

Hi, i think alot of the blemishes are caused by scale insect, sunburn, and transpoting/handling them. the ones with curves could be because some are serpentine like in growth, or was potted crooked or could be looking for light ? there my best guesses : )
