Bloody awesome photos, they all look very delicate and refined but that birds nest mushroom looks amazing with the 'eggs' inside. Wonder what medicines may be in hidden in these varieties? Sometimes I wish I was a research scientist

Riley, I can relate to where your coming from with all this and can sense your need to be close to civilisation. Being alone is not natural for us human beings. A holiday is nice or a weekend camping trip away can clear the mind and being a hermit in the bush for an extended period of time may provide you with a revelation, self discovery or insight but most of us like to be well setup and comfortable wherever we are. Maybe finding a farm or community along the north NSW Coast that needs farm hands/vegetable or fruit pickers. This way you can work for some lodgings eat good fresh fruit and veg. Maybe meet some interesting people from around the globe. This way you will be comfortable and you can be alone after work or mingle with the locals all up to you. Start googling and emailing organic growers and you might get some leads. Maybe find a stretch of coast to head to and treat it like a holiday/camping trip and see what opportunities come forth And no.1 Always maintain positive and confident outlook. All the best, Cheers -
Yep I'll take one.

Probably too late but anyway for the fun, one of my favorite movies was Blade Runner. If there's anything left I'll take it. All good just noticed this was from US so don't really want customs breathing down my neck. -
Good post, very handy to know in case you ever come across a heap of mold or spores in renovations or gardening etc. Always wear a mask would be a safer option in these situations.

I had one growing in my greenhouse, took 3 months to germinate. Did ice cold water treatment in fridge for few weeks before planting. Anyway to cut a long story short, one day I decided to take it outside of the greenhouse for some fresh air and sun. Few hours later a bird had pecked it out if the pot, leaves eaten and damaged root lying on ground. I was devastated, as it took a lot of effort and devotion to get the seed to germinate. Bad karma ! Was going to make Mandrake beer.

Reishi Spawn, Shimeji Spawn and Glowing Mushroom (Stipticus) Trade
Sulik114 replied to ace1928's topic in Seed & Plant Swaps
Hi Ace, Some reishi spawn would be nice as it seems to be a valuable medicinal fungi but hard to grow. All I got to trade that may interest you is some Loph Williamsii cactus seeds, some Calea zacatechichi seeds (Mexican Dream herb, very bitter plant, dried leaves taken as tea evoking strong dreams - worked for me on couple of occasions) and Acacia acuminata seeds from WA. Cheers, John -
A blonde, brunette and redhead passed away in a car accident. They arrive at the pearly gates and they are told they will be told a joke every 10 steps and they must make it up 100 steps. If they laugh they will not able to get in. The brunette went up 30 steps and laughed. The redhead went up 50 steps and laughed. The blonde got up all the way to the top and then started laughing hysterically. When asked "Why did you laugh when you got to the top?" The blonde replied, "I just got the first joke!"

How about some Mugwort seeds for some Gigantheum seeds, got a list of about another 40 different medicinal plant seeds that have been used as additions in brewing ancient beers. But away from home on holiday's at the moment so can't remember the complete list.
