T.Bridgesii Monstrose I've had this cactus for ~10 years and who knows how old it really is. It wasn't doing well in Albany (to cold/not enough sun?) I recently brought it up to Perth. Since then it's has been doing a lot better, really healthy at the moment with 2 new pups! Old picture just after i brought it up from Albany:
  3. Hi guys this is my first post, I'm so happy to finally be able to ask for help with this ID. So I got this guy from Bunnings a few years ago, but as of yet have been unable to ID it. At first when it was small it looked much like T.peru but as it has gotten bigger it is getting more club-like. It's spines have been getting longer and occasionally hooked as it grows larger. I've been able to ID all my other cacti but this one just stumps me. this photo is a little old. it was taken in winter and the cactus has been doing well in the summer weather. (Note: the ivory spines are old growth. When the spines are fresh they are a greenish-yellow with thick brown bands which slowly fade to a ivory.)
