Hey Ballzac :) . Does your cat  like the catnip? My cats were not  really interested hey. (I'm pretty sure I had 'catnip' and not 'catmint')

edit. Oh!  theres a recent thread about catnip

They usually aren't interested at first, but if you crush it between your fingers and let them smell it every now and then, it tends to grow on them. Our current cat wasn't interest at all at first, but now he rolls around in it and almost kills the plant

Also how long does it take to post without prior Moderator approval?

It can vary anywhere from a few minutes to a day. Sometimes posts get missed and it can be a few days before any of us notice it. Anyway, I've take you off mod preview now, so post away :)

  3. As Entity does not specifically claim ownership of the plant, it isn't clear whether he's incriminating himself.

Perhaps it would be prudent to clarify that the pics are not yours, or remove the pics.

It's borderline at best, considering the marks on the pods.

  4. Was gonna say it looks like catnip, lol. Good stuff. We have a "catnip" plant and a "catmint" plant. Don't know the species names though. Strangely, our cats aren't that interested in them, though one of them goes mental if you crush up a leaf and give it to him. We have neighbourhood cat who used to come around all the time (we think the previous tennants must have fed him or something, and he LOVES the catnip. He gets right in the pot and rolls around in it. He's a massive tom and almost destroys the plant, but it's good to see someone getting some use out of it.

  5. Yeah, we've had to shave Tabitha when the dreads got out of hand. We found a great brush with wire bristles that is good at getting them out (when they're not REALLY bad) and you can press a button to make the bristles retract so the hair just pulls off. No picking away at the brush to get all the hair out :)

  6. Swearing is an integral part of Australian life. I was reading one of those travel info websites, and the section about travelling to Australia said that Australians swear a lot in normal speech, so don't think that the person is angry or trying to offensive if they are swearing a lot while they're talking to you. I thought that was kind of cool.
