I've been trying to get scop pollen off here for years and it's always a no go. Why I'm stoked my other one is flowering. And yeah they've all been kinda neglected for a long time got a little tough for a while, the small scop was actualy hidden in long grass/weeds till a week ago when I noticed the flower bud poking through the top, spending a month off over xmas to garden and clean up shit. Though "hulk" often has a bit of a sucked in look even when pampered.

update of this plant so far it's staying kinda lumpy, may have me a new semi-monstrose.

ok so things have been a mess for a while and i've neglected heaps, so whilst cleaning up my cacti i came across this little guy which is one of the non-varigates from this lot http://www.shaman-australis.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=22036&hl=moses#entry250749 it was a failed graft stock that i'd just left lying around with a couple of other fails and it's certainly diff from it's company.

Hiya peoples, been a long time since I been here I have a couple of scops flowering at the moment that I'm hoping I'll cross . can't rmember what member gave me this but I've had it a few years and this is the "hulk" had far less time but a monster of a grower. here's both together, big size diff. hoping I get multiple flowers open on "hulk" so I can cover them all with the others single flower.

someone needs to make and market someway of demonizing coffee and get that fucking banned, imagine the shit storm if the latest "dangerous" street fad could be traced back to being a coffee extract that any kid can get hold of and make. you certainly aint a grumpy olg guy EG, you would have to be brain dead to not be outraged at humanity

As much as i wanted to attend this (cos I aint seen none of you guys for over a year) life has again thrown a curve ball and it's not going to happen so all you people have a great day and hopefully I can attend the January meet (seriously need to give eileen a trim so need to give away some choice pieces). As the title says looking for bitter and bottle gourd seeds a young indian guy at work was asking as he can't find them anywhere and I recall seeing them here so if you've got spare gives a pm. thanks

they should be jailed for the exact amount of time it takes for the damaged plants to grow back to original pre-damaged size , and fined the value of replacing fully matured specimens.

well i know im black flagged from before the internet even existed so i dont know if this played any part, but the "nice blokes" had an air about them that if found guilty this was gonna fuckin hurt and large penalties were mentioned but i played ball and they went home happy.. no pc would be end of story as that was all they wanted to see was the correspondence between me and seller(italian if i remember)

customs officers came to the house, i was already at work, from what the g.f. said was they had a quick glance around literally a cursory glance but mainly came specifically for the computer because i had told quarrantine i had corresponded with the seller using an online translator and email. They walked through my cacti to get to the back door(we dont use the front) didnt care just impressed with amount.

had a 10cm trich pach sent as a gift from OS. first call quarrantine, came to visit, happy that i had ordered seeds and mix up was in translation. meanwhile customs decide it looked like an obvious attempt to thwart import laws. after conferring with quarrantine they knock on my door at 7 in the morning with warrant to seize my computer to check on email converstaions between me and seller. everything went well emails proved my side but loss of computer for a week and then only because i gave them passwords etc otherwise their tech had to hack it so it would have been on their to do list. they saw my garden which had trays of seedlings everywhere at the time so it also added to the story that i wanted seed not plants. all were very nice blokes to deal with.

yeah i've got my fingers crossed it stays this way as i have a number of this plant and all but this one pup quite normal.

I've always wanted something that is just wallet size that i could take out anywhere and fly, you know just sitting on a park bench or the work carpark with a mini kite and your lunch. I remember making one an inch small from mylar foil but i cant find the site now it was years ago you could "fly" it in shopping centres, great novelty.

take a look at some of the micro kites they are great fun and can be used in a lighter wind, cool little silk butterflies and such. here's a pic of my mini dragon kite, it's seen better days and hasnt seen the skies for a few years.

got to 44ºC here in Adelaide so i took my laser thermometer outside and had cactus surface- 56ºC corrugated iron fence- 68ºC besser brick back doorstep- 76ºC sand in driveway- 83ºC rubber matting in mini horse feed shed- 92ºC i'm beginning to think the world did end on the 21st and we is now in hell.
