trout do u have any More info that I may use, I just got a cacti labeled kk242 with short spines, im inclined to belive its from the ones he send here to the us in 2000, looks a lot like the ones that are labeled f. langa, or genuine loc.....please pm me about this, I was wondering if this was the same one that was tested named Matucana.....

I feel that pachanoid and peruvianoids, non cuzco peruvanoids are very close related.... in matucana they say pachanoi and peru live in the same area....how else would they procreate if the perus are identicle they wouldn't be able to polliate eachother............spineless variants' pollinate the perus ........matucana pAchanoids are known to be very robust....

the third to the last picture on post 10 looks like the u c bbg berkely 48 .1540 with short spines... the areoles look the same....big and round, the berkely has 3 to 5 spines....

Thanks I just got those seeds. Im very excited because I already have a scope x pach seed from ss. I wonder who the breeder was from this mix. Hopefully im able to get a heavy scope variety. Thanks again go on then. I owe you.

Thanks that explains alot. Ive seen icaros seedlings that represents both peruvianus and pachanoi. One plant looked heavily pachanoi almost looked like torres and torres but with red spines I also have aquired a icaros in which I grafted and its throwing some nice red spines I similar to the first ones in this thread.

I got some cacti one time from europe. It came in a lil box with , maybe u could send me a lil one once u get home. Ill pay for shipping. Then maybe I fould send u a long spined pachanoi afterwards when it gets up to size

Its not salt built up. I think its some sort of paint. The pot what painted with a white glazed effect color

It is isnt it, famous plant. I just hope mocheal has some state side so he may supply me sith a cutting. how else would I get one. Dont make me ride my harley down there
