What did you do in your sacred garden today?

Awesome mychorrhizal fungi are so cool! I learnt about them while in the US and I was wondering now that Im home in Australia if there were mixes available suitable to the Australian ecosystem? Can I ask about the application of this mix? Is it just applied on the soil surface and watered in? And Im assuming Symbivit is a product name I will do some searches and see what I can find. -

Its been windy! Today I had to improvise some stakes for all the younger fruit trees getting bashed by the rain and the wind! -
Hey guys Im heading there for sure! First Earth Freq for me since I have been overseas for the last 3 but not my first festival, the anticipation is building! Cant wait to dance :D How will we recognize other forum members in the LED lit forest?

fat drops for days now! Its been so nice and comfortable to have a few rainy days after the heat! Look at the cool thing that happened in a pot of mine out the back, I think it had cow poo in the soil mixture? But theres a lot of woodchips in there too since its a native finger lime tree growing in that pot. So I was thinking agrocybe? Any ideas? http://imgur.com/a/x8qcm

Great thread! Very informative thanks. I myself am planning on a greenhouse purchase for my cacti and this has helped a lot and raised some interesting questions for me to answer!

Hey just got my tickets to Earth Freq Festival this year its 15th - 18th Feb. Got in a bit late though I would have preferred early bird prices hahaha! Anyone else going? Its going to be a LOT of fun :D I would be keen to meet up with anyone going and chat about plants in the forest

This is really interesting I was wondering if morels were popular here is Australia as I have lived in Wisconsin,USA for 3 years and the morel picking up there was great. So many and so delicious :D One even popped up in the crappy little smoking area of the hotel I worked at one spring they can be determined haha

Great thread for me as I am also new here and new to growing edible mushrooms! I had oysters in mind for the moment so its great to hear my thoughts echoed from a more knowledgeable source, but with the recent heat I might hold off for a little while yet and learn as much as I can here

Hi omsource! I would love to take some of the king oysters off your hands if you still have any! It would be great to try my hand at oysters and especially since you have done a lot of the work already thank you for sharing!!
