Menstruation as fertilizer.
Pinion replied to Dreamwalker.'s topic in Sustainable Technologies & Ethical Living
I'd consider processing (eg. composting, drying, etc.) the blood first, to reduce the risk of microbial contamination and blood-borne pathogens...especially if you're putting on your veggies. Hepatitis ain't cool. -
His background (poverty, over a decade of incarceration) is certainly a contrast to the typical privileged conservative politicians that we usually see (especially in Aus). This is a man who can actually empathise with and understand the needs of his people. Kudos, Jose.

Someone had to.

The older I get, the faster the days pass. I don't like it.

Interesting bestiality scenario right there. She fucking loves it, clearly

Great show. Even people who don't necessarily enjoy the story can still appreciate the talented actors and the amazing character development throughout the series. I really hope they don't kill or imprison Jessie (he's my favourite).

You could place the seed tray in a dish of water (enough water to allow the soil to remain moist), and/or use soil/growing medium that will retain more moisture (coir, vermiculite, etc.) Also, your average seed tray with small cells dries out too quickly, so something a little bit bigger is better. And as thed00d has said, humidity domes are a good idea.

Fertilizer for Acacia maidenii?
Pinion replied to kapitän kamasutra's topic in Australian Native Plants
Charlie Carp half-strength is tolerable for natives, though personally I very, very rarely fertilise mine. However, 'Trees for Life' advises growers to add a granular, controlled-release fertiliser to the potting soil. -
Coffee seems to be okay, even in cooler climates (albeit, the growth rate is fairly slow). I was quite surprised to see a beautiful C. arabica in the Sydney Botanic Gardens, out in the open.

Just cannot understand why people will do things like that. If karma exists, may it fuck them over (and as Xenodimensional said, this should be done with a cactus up the butt).

You can't dismiss the economic potential of cannabis, especially when (in the US at least) the legal situation is beginning to change. It will be very interesting to see how this progresses.

Based on this credible website, Victoria amended its drug laws in 2011. Since then it has been illegal to sell and display bongs, but no mention of possession has been made. Here's a quote from this document. "All of the states in Australia prohibit, in various ways, water pipes and ice pipes used for the consumption of prohibited drugs: with the exception of Victoria which currently only prohibits ice pipes. Some restrictions are imposed on the sale and display of hookahs and similar devices, but the majority of states make a distinction between these devices and bongs."

I'm thinking the same thing (Dodonaea). They seem to be used quite frequently in hedging as well. An interesting plant with a history of use in construction and natural medicine.
