Hi I recently acquired a large cactus with 4 trunks, standing 3.5m tall. Tried my best to move it whole but proved too difficult so I have had to make cuttings. I think it is a trichocereus but am confused of what type. It looks different to my other trichocereus pachanoi. There are spines on the bottom sections of the plant, with the spines becoming much smaller up the trunk, and being spineless for the new growth. There is a little bit of fur around the areoles at the base of the plant and around the new pup that is just forming.
