I had to pop back down to Wagga on the long weekend for a few family issues. I was please to see that a few of the damaged plants had recovered a little bit. Im not going to name anything in the nature of protecting the plants so...If you desperately cant figure out a plant please pm me. I think most are easily identifiable???

I unfortunately had to go to my grandads funeral in wagga ( my home town) on thursday its ok he wanted to get there. The wake was at the botanical gardens... And they have a small cactus grove so i snuck up to have a quick look before getting in trouble from the misses for not being able to give up the cactus addiction for five minutes. So sorry there arnt many shots. There were heaps of cuzos, grandis, spach, huge cereus,myrtillo and one pach... There is even a small bridgesii in the back ground of one shot. If your in wagga its worth a little look see.. I remember when i wad a kid there use to be a few huge stands of pc pach.. Anyway enjoy sorry i couldnt get more pics Cheers b

Very nice mate ^^^ I noticed with the psycho0 or huaraz in the mix i had very poor germs and then small amounts of monstrose compared with the other crosses. Sharxx as the mumma has produced the most for me so far. I did lose a quiet a few to the cat though!! Thanks again Nitro and Z!!!

Doesn't look like much but very special to me.... I took a cutting from here to give to a mate and left a mess. Unbeknownst to me my beautiful 3 year old Kash refilled the pumice and planted a graft that i had left lying around dying. He even put a lable stick in there. He said i shouldn't leave them out of the pot... very matter-o-fact and cute He even asks me Dad can we go catus-ing out the back.... so proud!! Even the Misses thinks it cute. Note... the digging tools I think the graft was Ben x something?

Thats not unusual at all mate. To give you an idea i got a pod from from one about 2 weeks ago that would be 60-70mm. It flowered about 1-2 weeks before that...far to soon for a pod. The last flowering of that plant would have been 9-12months ago. So the pod is likely from those flowers a year ago or more.

Mate definitely dont cut them they will sort themselves out in time. The same thing will happen with the base after new offsets anyway and top will more than likely Etiolate while rooting. All you are going to achieve with cutting is slow the hole process down. If your really worried mate stake them. I agree with Distracted the rocks cause the soil to stay wet for longer.

Hey mate What sort of time frame are you waiting for a seed pod? It can be a very long time between flowering and sighting a pod.
