I have no experience with that plant but would put both in their own pot. This should allow for a larger root system=healthier plant. Also prevent them competing with each other for light, this might encourage them to branch out as opposed to grow straight up. I would avoid staking them unless really needed and that would only be temporary. Trimming some of the lower branches off when repotting may encourage plants energy to go to roots.

Heya Max, sorry if I came across as a dick. I should have stated in the first post that it was a bit of a multiple choice. Peace. -
I'll happily take sloppy seconds. I don't even know what it is apart from beautiful.

I like your idea of the bird bath. I have a butcher bird and a few magpies that swoop around when things take flight or I disturb the soil. Maybe with a bird or 2 and you squishing the ones you see, might get in under control. The longer you can leave it with out using anything the more chance nature might sought it out. Maybe try some sacrificial plants. I noticed when visiting you had ample beneficials in your garden, those friends might be keeping bigger problems then grasshoppers under control so I would not risk their well being.

I have noticed the effects environmental conditions have. I am extremely confident with my ID's tho as they all came labelled from a reputable trader from this site. The last picture in my last post is how the trader had labelled them. I just had to much the picture of the cuttings up with the current pictures. There is not a large variety of cacti on the premises and the ones from the last picture had been kept separate to any others. The one I did struggle with tho was the Psycho0. Originaly I confused it with another cacti, as in the picture of the cuttings you can see how short the spines are. After reading up on Psycho0 and when looking close at the 2 Bridgesii that were there I could see the short spines at the base of the Psycho. Base of Psycho0 Top of Psycho0 I think that shows a good example of the difference in environmental conditions like you said. And here's the TBM cause I didn't include in first post -

Can you run power to the greenhouse? Might be able use a hps/mh light(probs around 400 watt, more if its a large area) with a gullwing reflector and pedestal fan. If you cant have the added light when heating is required can still use hps(in separate or blacked out area) with a cooltube, ducting and inline fan. Zelly's suggestion looks simpler and cheaper tho. Did notice the first one is 700 watts and second 1500watts, obviously the second one heats a larger area so maybe find one suited to the size of ya green house. I have a used a food dehydrator with a magic hotplate(made for cooking on the stove holds heat or something) on a stand 30cm above dehydrator to heat a mini aldi greenhouse. The hot plate held or generated enough heat the plastic on the dehydrator warped, it did do the job tho. -

Their status as pest comes from their being contrary to human intentions.
