Heya Naqual. I've given up my interest in this plant. Now I'm searching for Kratom seeds, or MODEST kratom leaf prices. However I'm quite positive I can get some Laurelia novae-zealandiae seeds from a nursery, so I'll check it out next week and send some over for ya. I was refering more to pukateine, and the 'worry' part was because safrol is a maoi. But I'm guessing if there were much value in the pukateine it would have more attention. I must add that to my surprise Kratom is quite expensive and abit hard to get in NZ. Spose I'm used to paying modest prices because of torsten and darcey. Also just found out that kratom has recently been classified in NZ as prescription only, ofcourse there are still loopholes for the plain leaf (which is what I'm after). The point is I'm frustrated. Well, I'm in NZ. And I tell ya its been one big stressful hoha getting over here. And no computer At my dads work so justa quik question. If I was to find this plant. How would I go about dosage? Torsten you said the essential oil is high in safrol, anything I should worry about. Also I've had a very brief read coza not much time but does any1 know where abouts in Northland it grows? Although I'm pretty sure I'll be able to find it at a large nursery. any input would be appreciated, thanx

the only time i had 'pure' mdma was a couple of years ago. I went halves in a point with a mate at the end of an woodrose trip. It was nicer than any strong arse pill and yeh no comedown but I can't consider this because we only had half a point. I presume it was cut so maybe 40 mgs MD, either way it was very nice.

yeh I read about it a few months ago whilste trying to find similar movies. Seen 1 preview on TV looks incredible will hire it when it comes out on dvd. Another one by Zhang which sounds promising is 'Shanghai Triad'. But I can't find it anywhere. on monday I hired 'shadowless sword'. A good movie similar to HOFD and hero but don't expect it to be as good. I found some of the camera angles during the fight seens abit annoying. Great soundtrack. Subtitled.

also I believe having a low level of serotonin will increase the likely hood of a 'bad' trip. I avoid MD only because my serotonin level is very important to me, I can't justify the reduction in serotonin with a 5 hour high. I'm a little jealous of the magical few who don't get any comedown from MD.

I'm (most probably) heading over to NZ at the start of april. I'd be more than happy to hunt this plant down for you (& everyone) torsten, so long as it grows in the North Island. I'll give a buzz the week before I leave so you guys can help me identify it, and post pics to confirm. Its one of my many dreams to search for an exotic plant with little research done on it. I'm pretty sure my dad knows 1 or 2 plant brothas who can grow cuttings untill seed sets. I'll only be there for 2 weeks so I can't see to it personally. But I have faith that if I do indeed find it, all will be taken care of.

To me I find marijuana to be the most overly critisized drug in the last however many years. I really dont bother with arguements about it anymore, its not worth the time invested. The worst withdrawals I ever had was after 3 1/2 months of smoking only organic bush! Long enough time for the 'dreaded hydro' to leave my system. Of course unflushed and chemically enhanced hydro will be much worse for you. But it can't be through potency - Hash has been around for ever. I know the 'stone' from it is different but you can see my point. a couple of months after that I started smoking again, it was strong hydro. If I had quit (I tried) 6 weeks ago I would have been very angry, very depressed, and relationships with people would have been damaged. However, I quit 2 weeks ago and had very smooth withdrawels. Why? Because of circumstances! The state of mind your in when you quit pot is a massive factor for withdrawels. Pot is unique in this way, when you deny this you guarantee yourself a hard comedown. I've had both terrible terrible comedowns and also reasonably light comedowns. Prepare yourself. Heres a recommendation. Make sure your healthy, haven't taken any other substances for 3 months before you quit, and have something which reminds you of the beauty and incredible integration of reality whilste coming down. If you love the feeling of pulling a cone as much as I do, acquire yourself a mild relaxing herb to take the edge off. I found David Attenburroughs Private Life of Plants perfect for coming down, it reminded my brain that reality isn't as shit as it may seem. Here is an even greater awe-inspiring production. I did use some codeine and blue water lilly spirits for my first night, and doxylamine the second night to help sleep but thats all. Having something to fall on, such as the codeine lilly combo, takes away the 'fear' of quitting - making that first step easier to take. Those who get schizophrenia from smoking (a doctor told me when I was 15) pot would have developed it later on in life if they hadn't smoked, marijuana just triggers it. IME other 'mental illness's' developed from pot eventually leave after the usage stops - there are some exceptions, but I don't consider these simply because the are a shitload of people who don't smoke and have major psychological problems. Its a twisted world. But blame avoids self responsibility and therefor inhibits any ability to help ones own mind/situation. I'd like to explain this in great detail but its just too time consuming, sorry, I know I've left out quite a few rebuttles to arguements against what I've said. Arguemnts/discussion about certain topics is something I usually avoid because I prefer peace and common ground. But this pissed me off a bit and I couldn't resist. C'mon mate, if you had ants crawling all over you and your dinner plate, coming out of the piping and taps in your bathroom, you wouldn't be talking the same as you are now. yes? As I said ants are incredibly amazing creatures - I agree with you whole heartedly - but that has nothing to do with wanting to watch TV in peace/eat dinner in peace/have a shower in peace/read forums in peace. I myself, don't leave any food out anymore - but my flatmates do, though I've tried telling them, its a fine line between constructive critisism and being bossy. Edit: I transplanted my lycium yesturday, and there was extreme water logging in the pot. The top 3/4 of the soil was dry, but the bottom 1/4 was like mud.

hello. About 6 days ago it started to rain. Great. So I took my plants from the window sill and stuck'em outside. Problem was, when I went to retrieve my lycium I was astonished to find hundreds of ants had occupied the pot (porcelan) (16cm wide at top) and weren't happy with me moving it. Like many problems I just left it there hoping it'll fix itself. It didn't, and now my lycium is looking a quite upset. Are these ants a problem? They seem to be shifting the soil out from the bottom of the pot, and they're multiplying. I tried washing them off in saopy water, but there in the soil so i can't do much. The strange thing is the very same pot had a different plant in it 3 months ago and was infested by earwigs, I'm talking about a community of these bloody things!!! I successfully drowned the bastards but the ants are tougher. So what would attract ear-wigs and ants to the same pot, or is it just coincidence? Any help much appreciated, I already lost my Jiaogulan (and 2 others) from not telling my flatmates to water whilste i was away . I really really don't want to fail my goji plant. thanx heaps

Just remembered something. The two best episodes of rage I ever saw was when it was hosted by NOFX and Tool. Is there anyway to get a dvd of these episodes? There were some crazy sweet tripped out songs/video clips Tool played but I was really smokey and only tracked down one of them. Some german brother with the coolest garden song I've heard - one of his lyrics resides in my sig.

I used to read bluelight very regularly. But I found a massive portion of what I read to be repertitive and not as informative as the topic title had me think. There are alot of positives about bluelight, (don't take offence) but the overall feeling I got from reading the threads was frustration. There is definetely some valuable info there though. There are more reasons why I stopped visiting but I'm sunburnt and tired - and don't want to offend you bye not explaining them properly. I may try again tomorrow. This guy looks pretty sunburnt too

Vapour: Months ago when the ants first started cruising around our house, my flatmates were really pissed off about it but I was all like "let them cruise, they're just cleaning up the crums'n food that we drop". But after a while it became too much and you couldn't be in the lounge room or kitchen without having ants crawl all over your legs. What would the ants do if I started cruising around thier home? They wouldn't have put up with it as long as I've put up with them. So yes, the ants must die! Also it has no pests on it and I didn't want the ants to start farming. But the last plant I had in that pot practicly never grew, so the fungus theory sounds valid. However, due to the happy appearance of my Lycium I am to believe such a fungus is no longer there - and the ants are only after the water. Seasol is used. Poison is only a LAST resort. And in most (this case) cases won't be used. Ants are quite amazing creatures, but there fuck'n annoying. Edit: spelling
