Haha Sorry to burst your bubble there is only one cristata the other 2 had been doused with BAP so maybe not in the true form of a cristata. As I said they have been neglected for some time hope you get to revive and enjoy them bud. All the best.

This is the very last of my cacti collection that I'm is being given away I can't confirm the varieties of Trichs but there is a mix of bridgesii x, peruvian x and pach x and one that was sold as a cristata but not sure it waa so long ago. There are 2 that have weird growth that was induced by BAP. 2 requirements for taking the cacti is you have to pay for postage and be able to rejuvenate them. They will come bare rooted. Cheers all

I've only had a handful of lucid dreams in my life and none for years. Last night I slept for about 4 hours and took a 4mg GalantamineHBr tablet for the first time ever. Went back to bed and fell asleep after what felt like 10 to 25 mins. And while dreaming became lucid! Incredible chemical this galantamine.

The package came today - I am going to be splitting them up between myself and a friend. For $15 each its not a bad haul. They are mostly small, and nutrient deficient, and one is suffering black blistering possible fungal - however their is some interesting morphology amongst them. However I have potted them up in my usual mix of 50/50 organic and inorganic mix. Then I mixed up a fertilizer and iron chelate and a system fungicide and have given them a good dosing. With winter coming it is just about getting them settled in asap. The box contained three cristata one is a good size two are tiny. So bonus score. Thanks out to @Siggor

From what I see in the community attitudes the day when psychotropic plants become legal is far far ................... far away. Push back is and will continue to be insurmountable. Whole generations of people young and old have been brainwashed, into fearing nature and plants by the likes of Johnny. As I always say Australia is a deeply conservative bureaucratic dystopia. In addition to many groups have a vested interest in the war on nature and they are more then happy to stick to the statuesque. I can see many of these plants being legalized for profit pharmaceuticals in the coming decades, everything else will remain stigmatized. Just accept that as sab'er you are a pariah and will remain as such. Sorry.

kratom use will certainly not ruin your life, there is a saying in malaysa, saying woman, marry a kratom chewer and not a pot smoker, the chewers are working, the pot smokers are lazy. i predict a future when most psychotropic plants, will be legal again, because the sience will proof us sab'ers right. people like john howard and his advisors, are uneducated, and made there decisions, not understanding the ethno community's knowledge. a lot of doctors and psychiatrist are already on our side!

Maybe. Cacti are not known for betacarbolines (even though traces were claimed to have been observed in one recent paper, said paper did not engage in an isolation or structural proof). It is more common for cyclization of phenethylamines in cacti to lead to isoquinoliones. Some of which are known MAOIs. Peyote was fermented also, in ancient Mexico, but the result was described as a vinagre rather than being ethanolic.

I got two plants of D bosseranum from Alchemica and they produced about 50 flowers and each flower must have 20 or so seed in it - I harvest a bunch of the tiny seeds and planted them out and they are gone grazy and I will have 600 plus seedlings. Might be giving a bunch these away in time. I harvest more seeds of D bosseranum I have put in two envelopes each with at least 50 seeds that I will post at no cost for interested people (No WA/Tas) First two to get in contact - will send ASAP From The Garden Of Eden by Snu Voogelbreinder The phytochemistry of this plant is from my understanding unknown but some find it superior to the Sceletiums While some find Sceletium to be "short acting, created anxiety and far too much stimulation", one preliminary report using D. bosseranum "two days of relief from my depression was over. It was a totally transparent experience that was all me. No depressive crash after this was over. It was like being lifted out of depression on angel wings, and just as gently dropped off back in my normal state of being two days later." D. bosseranum is currently used in a similar way to Sceletium species (Kanna/Kougoed), the unfermented dried tuber is used, as well as the fermented whole plant (aerial and underground parts together). Looks like Cereus peruvianus (not Tricho-), Peruvian apple cactus or similar.

I would assume the consequences are 1. They lose their vote on the next issue. So that leaves the party less likely to be able to pass legislation. 2. They are penalised financially, either a fine or that week/month salary 3. They go on a public register. This could then be used to assess their character by the electorate come next election cycle. Failing that you could simply criminalise drinking or drug decision making in the same way it is for driving.

Update from the package I got from - @Alchemica I now have so many plants that I have lost count both from cuttings and from seed. I have taken dozens of cuttings from the Mesembryanthemum (Aptenia) cordifolium so much so I recently helped a friend plant out her garden for her new house. Giving her cuttings from all of these and they have been thriving in the ground. I have given other cuttings to another friend. I have got 100s of seeds from Delosperma bosseranum and from Sceletium emarcidum - I have planted them out in seed raising mix in mini green houses. I will see how they germinate But I think that it should not be a problem. Because I had a few cuttings that had seed pods on them, the pods burst open and out came a 100 seedlings. These things are almost weedy. The following have been growing well but slowly the occasional flowers Trichodiadema stellatum Delosperma echinatum Sceletium tortuosum Lampranthus spectabilis The Sceletium tortuosum has been the slowest grower just holding on during summer. I hope that in winter it will pick up in growth. I hope that next year I will have seedlings to share with people on here. I have been sampling green leaves and I have found them to modulate my moods - when ever I am feeling stressed or down I sample a pinch and find it beneficial. Tried fermenting a harvest of Mesembryanthemum (Aptenia) cordifolium but was not happy with the product. Might try to do an extraction. But doing a plant extraction using solvents i not something I am not familiar with.

hi, lou! the cathas in the pic, are what we call the red strain. i named the vienna white, the planthelper, and started calling some x pollinated strains pinks. the red strain originated from wa, and the property owner of one of those trees in wa, became even a member here for a while. he found sab, because he investigated why some people, tresspassed his garden and kept pruning his red catha. the vienna white, comes from the university botanical gardens in vienna, it was sourced originally, from yemen. the narrow leaved, comes from trees in the royal botanical gardens sydney, and a tree in tarango zoo. rumours say it was confiscated by the border patrol. the plant helper is a x cross between a narrow leaved and a vienna white, it displays good hybreed vigor. once all those plants got established, many cross polinated seeds got produced and traded. the pinks are one of those open pollinated breeds. there are as well, narrow leaved semi reds, and planthelper pinks and many intermidiates. yemen bosts, to have hundreds of different strains. we got as well at some stage seeds from south africa, but some description of his seeds were incorrect.... hope that helps. broad leaved qat makes an easy cutting, narrow leaved qat, does not strike well from cuttings, but produces suckers. those suckers can be used, to produce easy cuttings as well. but once the narrow leaved plant stops producing leaves in a spiral fashion, the abilety to take cuttings from those plants diminishes. if you start of with a nl sucker, and often take cuttigs from it, this action will slow down the aging process to some degree. madragora took cuttings of mature narroleaved plants, where a young side shoot is formed, and had good success, but she was an above average probagator. if you want manny nl's you might just propagate from seed. if there are many other cathas around, than some to all seedlings could be cross pollinated. so choose narrow leaved seeds from an isolated tree.
